Final injury report ahead of Texas A&M vs. No. 14 LSU

Here is the final injury ahead of Texas A&M’s regular-season finale vs. No. 14 LSU in Baton Rouge (LA) on Saturday afternoon.

Texas A&M (7-4, 4-3 SEC) will end its 2023 football regular season on the road against the 14th-ranked LSU Tigers (8-3, 5-2 SEC). The game comes less than two weeks after the firing of head coach Jimbo Fisher, who was two games away from finishing his sixth season at the helm.

In interim head coach Elijah Robinson’s first game in his new role, the Aggies defeated Abilene Christian, 38-10, behind a 21-3 second-half scoring run in the final game in Kyle Field this season. An all-walk-on kickoff team fielded late in the fourth quarter was truly one of the best moments you will witness all season.

While this game has no bearing on the Aggies’ bowl eligibility after winning their 7th game last weekend, defeating the best offense in college football behind the arm and legs of senior quarterback and Heisman Trophy favorite Jayden Daniels is a significant achievement amid all the chaos surrounding who will succeed Fisher at the helm in the coming days.

On Monday, Robinson stated that quarterback Max Johnson, who has missed A&M’s last two games with a rib injury, is doubtful to start against the Tigers, placing sophomore signal-caller Jaylen Henderson in the driver’s seat for his third consecutive start. Starting cornerback Josh DeBerry is also questionable about returning after joining Johnson on the injury list after the loss to Ole Miss.

Sophomore wide receiver Evan Stewart’s status with the team after rumors indicated that he will not travel to Baton Rouge has no factual basis as of now. Nothing is set in stone until the Aggies take the field for pre-game warmups on Saturday.

NOTE: It has been reported that Evan Stewart did not travel to Baton Rouge ahead of the game.

Texas A&M will take on 14th-ranked LSU on Saturday, Nov. 25 at 11 a.m. CT., and ESPN will carry the game.

Commanders vs. Cowboys: Final injury report for Week 12

The Commanders will be without Emmanuel Forbes vs. Cowboys.

Washington’s abbreviated week of practice is over as the Commanders traveled to Dallas for their Week 12 Thanksgiving Day showdown with the Cowboys.

Washington looks to rebound from last week’s ugly loss to the New York Giants, while Dallas hopes to remain undefeated at AT&T Stadium.

Each team released its final injury reports on Wednesday, and the Commanders will be without three players, including rookie cornerback Emmanuel Forbes.

Forbes injured his elbow in Sunday’s game, and while he did return, the short week likely impacted his availability to play on Thanksgiving.

Washington will also be without defensive end James Smith-Williams. Smith-Williams injured his hamstring in the loss to the Seahawks in Week 10. Fullback Alex Armah will also miss Thursday’s game at Dallas with a hamstring injury.

The Cowboys received much better injury news, with all but two players on Tuesday’s injury report returning to practice Wednesday. Safety Jayron Kearse is doubtful, and running back Rico Dowdle is questionable.

Commanders vs. Giants: Final injury report for Week 11

The Commanders could be without Antonio Gibson on Sunday.

The final injury report is in for Week 11, and the Washington Commanders will be down two players, with another critical offensive player doubtful.

Defensive end James Smith-Williams, who left last week’s game with a hamstring injury, is out. Fullback Alex Armah, who also fills in at tight end, will also miss Sunday’s game.

The big news for Washington is running back Antonio Gibson. Gibson is doubtful for Sunday against the New York Giants with a toe injury. He hasn’t practiced all week. Gibson and Brian Robinson Jr. are in a virtual timeshare in the backfield. Both players have been excellent recently.

Here is Washington’s final injury report:

  • FB Alex Armah: Out (hamstring)
  • RB Antonio Gibson: Doubtful (toe)
  • DE James Smith-Williams: Out (hamstring)
  • CB Benjamin St-Juste: Full (illness)
  • WR Curtis Samuel: Full (toe)

Here is the Giants’ final injury report:

  • LB Bobby Okereke: Limited (hip)
  • WR Jalin Hyatt: Full (concussion)
  • OL Evan Neal: Out (ankle)
  • OLB Kayvon Thibodeaux: Full (concussion)
  • CB Adoree’ Jackson: Out (concussion)
  • CB Deonte Banks: Full (ankle)
  • RB Saquon Barkley: Limited (ankle)
  • QB Tommy DeVito: Full (shoulder)
  • CB Cor’Dale Flott: Full (shoulder)
  • S Xavier McKinney: Full (rib)
  • S Jason Pinnock: Full (thumb/ankle)
  • WR Wan’Dale Robinson: Limited (knee)
  • OL Andrew Thomas: Questionable (knee)
  • RB Deon Jackson: Full (concussion)
  • LB Azeez Ojulari: Limited (ankle)

Final injury report ahead to Texas A&M vs. Abilene Christian

Hear is the final injury report ahead of Texas A&M’s final home game of the 2023 season vs. Abilene Christian.

When the news broke that Jimbo Fisher had been fired from Texas A&M (6-4, 4-3 SEC) on Sunday, everything relating to the 2023 season paused until assistant head coach Elijah Robinson was granted the interim position for the remaining three games, as the Aggies are back to work this week to finish the season strong.

On Monday, Robinson, in his first official media appearance as head coach, focused on his new responsibilities, what he learned during his last five seasons under Fisher, and how the team responded to the news after learning of Robinson’s promotion:

“When we talked to the team and addressed them about the transition, I thought those guys handled it really well. Those guys embraced me. They weren’t happy about what happened, but they were ready to move forward.”

Heading into his first game in the interim role, Robinson has already made an immediate impact, as reports out of practice this week described a team as confident as ever without letting Fisher’s dismissal affect their collective focus with three games left to finish out strong.

Regarding the injury report ahead of kickoff vs. ACU, quarterback Max Johnson’s status has unfortunately been kept in the dark. Still, he is not expected to play, meaning sophomore Jaylen Henderson will make his second straight start after scoring four touchdowns in last weekend’s 51-10 thrashing of Mississippi State.

Concerning wide receiver Evan Stewart, it was reported that he returned to practice this week and, outside of any last-minute updates, will play against the Wildcats, hopefully providing Henderson with a full receiving arsenal to do some serious damage through the air.

Here is Texas A&M’s complete injury list:

Texas A&M

  • QB Conner Weigman (Out, foot)
  • TE Donovan Green (Out, ACL)
  • QB Max Johnson (Questionable, Ribs)
  • DB Jardin Gilbert (Out, shoulder)
  • RB Le’Veon Moss (Questionable, hamstring)
  • WR Evan Stewart (Questionable, lower body)

In his first game as interim head coach, Robinson will lead Texas A&M against the visiting Abilene Christian Wildcats on Saturday, Nov. 18, at 11:00 a.m., where the game will air on ESPN+ and SEC+.

Commanders vs. Seahawks: Final injury report for Week 10

The Commanders and Seahawks are pretty healthy heading into Week 10.

The final injury report is in for Week 10, and only one player is ruled out for the meeting between the Seattle Seahawks and Washington Commanders.

While the Seahawks listed several players on the initial injury report on Wednesday, only guard Anthony Bradford is ruled out for Sunday’s game.

As for the Commanders, starting wide receiver Curtis Samuel is questionable with a toe injury. Samuel missed last week’s game at New England.

Here is the Commanders’ final injury report:

  • WR Curtis Samuel: Questionable (toe)

Here’s Seattle’s final injury report:

Seattle head coach Pete Carroll is optimistic that all of the “questionable” players will be good to go Sunday vs. Washington.

Commanders vs. Patriots: Week 9 final injury report

Curtis Samuel will miss Sunday’s game for the Commanders.

The final injury reports are out for the Week 9 contest between the Washington Commanders and New England Patriots. The Commanders will be without starting wide receiver Curtis Samuel, opening the door for veteran Jamison Crowder to get more looks in the slot. Washington could also use Jahan Dotson in the slot, allowing Dyami Brown more snaps on the outside.

The Patriots, who have had a lengthy injury list all week, will also be without two players for Sunday’s game.

Here are the full injury reports beginning with the Commanders:

  • WR Curtis Samuel: OUT (toe)

Commanders vs. Eagles: Final injury report for Week 8

Two starters are out for the Commanders on Sunday.

The final injury report is in for Week 8, and the Washington Commanders will be without two starters vs. the Philadelphia Eagles.

Linebacker Cody Barton and left guard Saahdiq Charles will miss Sunday’s game after suffering injuries in last week’s loss to the Giants. Either rookie Ricky Stromberg or second-year guard Chris Paul will start in Charles’ place. As for Barton, veteran David Mayo replaced him last week, but Khaleke Hudson will also see increased snaps. Hudson is a player who has always delivered when called upon.

Only one player is out for the Eagles: veteran backup cornerback Bradley Roby.

Here’s the full injury report for the Week 8 game.

Washington’s final injury report:

  • G Saahdiq Charles: Out (calf)

Final injury report ahead of Texas A&M vs. South Carolina

Here is the final injury report ahead of Texas A&M’s Week 9 home matchup vs. South Carolina on Saturday afternoon

Texas A&M (4-3, 2-2 SEC) will embark on a potential second-half turnaround after dropping consecutive SEC matchups to Alabama and Tennessee before entering their much-needed bye week to reflect and move on to host the South Carolina Gamecocks (2-5, 1-4 SEC) on Saturday afternoon.

Knowing that nearly every media member and Aggie fan alike will be deadset focused on Jimbo Fisher’s future at the helm, South Carolina’s struggling defense presents a great opportunity for the Aggies’ equally struggling offense to finally find some rhythm, starting with stark improvement on the offensive line.

Regarding how healthy the team looks ahead of the matchup, Fisher provided a vague yet positive update concerning several key Aggie defenders who sustained minor injuries in the loss to Tennessee.

“Most guys healed up. The week was really good. For the most part, we should be pretty healthy.”

First off, star linebacker Edgerrin Cooper, who suffered what looked to be a concussion-based injury, is good to go. At the same time, defensive tackles Walter Nolen and Albert Regis also avoided serious lower-body injuries and, as of now, should be available for Saturday. Safety Jardin Gilbert and tackle Reuben Fatheree II remain out.

South Carolina’s injury list is quite dense:

  • WR Antwane Wells Jr. (Questionable, Foot)
  • OL Vershon Lee (Questionable, Undisclosed)
  • WR Ahmarean Brown (Questionable, Hamstring)
  • WR Xavier Legette (Questionable, Upper Body)
  • RB Bradley Dunn (Out, Lower Body)
  • OL Cason Henry (Out, Lower Body)
  • OL Markee Anderson (Out,Knee)
  • TE Reid Mikeska (Out, Undisclosed)
  • LB Mohamed Kaba (Out, Knee)

Commanders vs. Giants: Final injury report for Week 7

No Commanders are out, but three Giants’ offensive linemen will miss the game.

The final injury report is in for Sunday’s Week 7 game between the Washington Commanders and New York Giants. It’s positive for the Commanders, who had 10 players listed on Wednesday’s injury report, but no one will miss Sunday’s game.

Cornerback Kendall Fuller, who did not practice on Wednesday and Thursday, practiced in a limited capacity on Friday. Fuller told reporters Thursday he was playing on Sunday.

New York’s injury report was even longer, with 15 players listed, including left tackle Andrew Thomas, quarterback Daniel Jones and running back Saquon Barkley. Only three players are ruled out for Sunday’s game, but unfortunately, Thomas is one of those players for the Giants. He hasn’t played since Week 1.

Jones was listed as questionable on the injury report, as he still hasn’t been cleared for contact. Head coach Brian Daboll didn’t rule him out, but it appears to be some gamesmanship from the Giants because Jones plays so well against the Commanders.

If Jones doesn’t play, veteran Tyrod Taylor will make his second consecutive start.

The Giants will also be without rookie center John Michael Schmitz and backup offensive lineman Matt Peart. Barkley will play on Sunday.

Here is the full injury report for Week 7.

Packers listing 10 players with playing status designations on final injury report of Week 7

Healthy coming out of the bye? Hardly. The Packers are listing 10 players with playing status designations on the final injury report of Week 7.

The inactive list for the Green Bay Packers will be an important one come Sunday afternoon in Denver. Packers coach Matt LaFleur said 10 different players will have playing status designations on the final injury report arriving later Friday.

Linebacker De’Vondre Campbell will be listed as doubtful, while running back Aaron Jones, cornerback Jaire Alexander, left guard Elgton Jenkins, linebacker Quay Walker, safety Darnell Savage, defensive lineman Devonte Wyatt, safety Zayne Anderson, offensive tackle Yosh Nijman and cornerback Eric Stokes will all be listed as questionable.

It’s an incredible list considering the Packers are coming out of the bye and have played exactly one game in the month of October.

Campbell, who has already missed two games, wasn’t expected to play on Sunday to start the week. Isaiah McDuffie will likely get another start at linebacker.

Two surprises: Alexander and Jenkins both didn’t practice on Friday and are now big question marks entering Sunday. Alexander has a recurring back injury, Jenkins is still recovering from a knee injury.

Stokes remains on the PUP list as of early Friday afternoon.

Walker and Savage both suffered injuries against the Raiders before the bye but practiced this week.

LaFleur said Jones looked good in practice this week but remained limited, and the team won’t make the call on his playing status until they know how he feels Sunday.

The Packers will put out an official injury report later on Friday. Inactive lists are due 90 minutes before kickoff — so around 1:55 p.m. CT for the Packers on Sunday.
