Members of the Warriors react to fly landing on Mike Pence’s head at Vice Presidential Debate

After a fly landed on Mike Pence’s head at the VP Debate with Kamala Harris, Draymond Green and Eric Paschall chimed in on Twitter.

After President Donald Trump met with former Vice President Joe Biden for the first Presidential Debate for the 2020 election, it was time for their running mates to square off on Wednesday.

Vice President Mike Pence lined up across from Sen. Kamala Harris in Utah for the only VP Debate of election season. The pair debated a bevy of topics that included the coronavirus pandemic, the Supreme Court, climate change and more.

During the 90 minute debate, a highlight moment occurred when a fly landed on the head of Pence. According to Ian Cull of NBC Bay Area, the fly stuck around on Pence’s head for two minutes, three seconds.

The arrival of the fly quickly turned social media into a frenzy of jokes and memes. Many viewers of the debate chimed in on social media with their take on the memorable fly, including a pair of Golden State Warriors.

The second Presidential Debate between Trump and Biden is slated to take place on Thursday, Oct. 15, at Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts in Miami, Florida. The third and final pre-election debate is scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 22, in Nashville, Tennessee.

Sixers, Flyers team up to use Wells Fargo Center as voting spot for election

The Philadelphia 76ers and the Philadelphia Flyers are teaming up to turn Wells Fargo Center into a voting spot for the upcoming election.

Currently, NBA arenas are not being used as the world is adapting to the current circumstances of the COVID-19 pandemic. It is also an important time in the world as the general election is coming up fast in November and organizations are beginning to use these arenas as safe voting spots for that election.

The Philadelphia 76ers and the NHL’s Philadelphia Flyers, who both occupy the Wells Fargo Center, have teamed up to use the arena as a spot for election activities related to the general election to be held in November.

“We thank our great partner, Comcast Spectacor, and the Philadelphia Flyers for their efforts in ensuring that the Wells Fargo Center is available to serve as a place where the Philadelphia community can safely exercise their right to vote,” said Sixers president Chris Heck via a press release. “The 76ers will continue to advocate for increased access to voting and use our platform to do good in our communities.”

This is a time where the world is looking for chance as social justice issues rise to the forefront of America. This is an important time for everybody to vote and let their voice be heard for the future of the country.

Steph and Ayesha Curry appear at DNC to endorse Joe Biden in the 2020 election

Steph and Ayesha Curry appeared in a virtual video at the 2020 Democratic National Convention to endorse Joe Biden in the 2020 election.

Stephen Curry had a busy Thursday.

After serving as the Golden State Warriors representative at the NBA Draft Lottery, Curry joined his wife Ayesha to make an appearance during the final night of the 2020 Democratic National Convention.

In a pretaped video surrounded by their family, Steph and Ayesha endorsed Democratic nominee Joe Biden in the 2020 election. Ayesha opened the video stating, “We want to ensure that our kids live in a nation that is safe, happy, healthy and fair.” The two-time NBA Most Valuable Player followed saying, “we’re voting for Biden.”

Steph and Ayesha were then joined by their daughters Ryan and Riley for some questions about politics and the upcoming election.

After the Curry family’s video, the former Vice President chimed in on Twitter to thank Steph and Ayesha.

Curry responded to Biden’s thank you with praise for his formal acceptance speech at the DNC. The point guard called the speech “amazing.”

Curry joined fellow NBA All-Star LeBron James to endorse Biden. In an interview with Cari Champion and Jemele Hill, the Los Angeles Lakers forward said he would “for sure” support Biden and Kamala Harris in the 2020 election.

Who wins in boxing match: President Trump or Joe Biden?

A poll conducted by FitRated.com found that the majority of 1,000 people surveyed think Joe Biden would beat Donald Trump in a boxing match.

Those who follow presidential polls know that Donald Trump is trailing presumptive Democratic nominee Joe Biden in the general election. The current president obviously has a fight on his hands as we approach November.

But what if it were a different kind of fight? What if it were, you guessed it, a boxing match?

Trump, 74, is a legitimate heavyweight at 6 feet, 3 inches and an estimated 240 pounds. Biden, 77, is a reported 6 feet and 160 pounds, which would make him a middleweight and an underdog because of the stark size different.

Still, a poll conducted by FitRated.com found that the majority of 1,000 people surveyed think Biden would defeat Trump in a boxing match. And it wasn’t close: 58.9% for Biden, 41.1% for Trump.

Biden had an even bigger advantage among fellow Democrats, 76% to 24%. Meanwhile, Trump had an edge of 68% to 32% among Republicans.

Those who took part in the poll evidently chose the wiry Biden’s quickness over Trump’s brawn. Or could politics have played a role?

If it makes the president feel better, similar polls had him defeating former Democratic presidential candidates Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren, Michael Bloomberg and Amy Klobuchar in the ring. Pete Buttigieg, 5-foot-10 but only 38 years old, was picked to beat Trump.
