Alabama is a program whose name is called all too often during the first night of NFL drafts year after year. With the Crimson Tide being on the top of the nation and on pace to make another run for a National Championship, there’s a good chance a few more will be selected in the upcoming 2021 draft.

Sporting News’ Vinnie Iyer put together his latest 2021 mock draft and predicts plenty of Nick Saban products to be off the board on night No. 1.

Six Alabama players is what Iyers projects. Players on both sides of the ball will be spread out across the league, according to Iyer.

Here’s where the Alabama stars land:

19. Philadelphia Eagles – Dylan Moses, LB

Moses, who is returning from a missed season due to injury, has proven not only that he is healthy, but that he is able to be a better player than he was before the torn ACL, which was already great. The Eagles need help in the second line, according to Iyers, and Moses can offer that.

Chris Spooner of pro football network included six alabama stars in the first round of his latest 2021 nfl mock draft.

Alabama is a name read all too often in the first round of NFL drafts, and the program is covering mock drafts all across the country.

Pro Football Network’s Chris Spooner put together his latest 2021 NFL mock draft and it includes a healthy amount of Crimson tide stars.

Here’s where Spooner predicts teams will select the Nick Saban products on night No. 1 of the draft:

25. Jacksonville Jaguars – Christian Barmore, DT

Barmore is a key piece to the Alabama defensive front. While most mock drafts had him being selected much sooner in the first round, a slow start to the Crimson Tide defense has led him to fall a bit, but Spooner still thinks Barmore is worth the pick and could help the Jaguars defense.

7 Alabama players in first round of latest CBS Sports 2021 NFL mock draft

Seven Alabama players are projected to go in the first round of CBS Sports’ Ryan Wilson’s 2021 NFl mocl draft, including QB Mac Jones.

After defeating No. 3 Georgia, No. 2 Alabama is now the only SEC program to remian undefeated through four weeks. The Crimson Tide holds claim to three top-ten Heisman hopefuls and the program seems primed to pump out plenty of first-round talent into the 2021 NFL draft.

Nick Saban is certainly no stranger to having former players selected in the first round, and CBS Sports’ Ryan Wilson seems to have taken notice. Wilson’s latest 2021 NFL mock draft includes seven Alabama stars in the first round.

Here’s where Wilson predicts the Crimson Tide products will land:

29. Pittsburgh Steelers – Alex Leatherwood, OT

Leatherwood has stepped up big time into a lead role on the Alabama offensive line. After losing Jedrick Wills to the 2020 NFL draft, Leatherwood is now the go-to tackle. Wilson calls this pick potentil “insurance” in case they are unable to resign Villanueva.

247Sports 2021 NFL mock draft predicts 4 Alabama players in first round

247Sports Brad Crawford released his latest mock draft for the 2021 NFL draft. In it is four Alabama stars on both sides of the ball.

Week 3 of College Football is in the books and certain players on this 2020 Alabama team are primed to be first-round draftees.

247Sports’ Brad Crawford posted his latest 2021 NFL mock draft that includes four Alabama players.

There’s plenty of time left in the 2020 NFL season for the draft order to chnange, as is there plenty of games left to play in the college football season for players’ draft value to fluctuate.

As of now, here’s where Crawford believes these Crimson Tide stars will begin their professional careers:

30. Baltimore Ravens – DeVonta Smith, WR

Kent Gidley via USA TODAY Sports

DeVonta Smith was a key offensive contributor in 2019. However, with big names from Alabama, such as Jerry Jeudy and Henry Ruggs III, being a part of a bigger class of high-profile wide receivers, it was probably in Smith’s best interest to stay for one more season and enter a less-crowded 2021 draft class.

Pro Football Network 2021 NFL mock draft has 6 Alabama players in first round

Pro Football Network predicts six Alabama playrs will be drafted in the first round of the 2021 NFl mock draft.

Nick Saban is known for being a National Championship-winning college football coach and working with players to get them at a level where NFL scouts can see them as game-ready.

In the 2020 draft, Saban saw nine former players be drafted within the first-three rounds, four of which were selected in round No. 1.

Pro Football Network’s Nick Farabugh predicts that six Crimson Tide products will be drafted in the first ound of the 2021 NFL draft.

Here’s how he predicts it shakes out:

28. Tennessee Titans – Christian Barmore, DL

John David Mercer-USA TODAY Sports

Farabaugh claims that Barmore would be a nice addition alongside Jadeveon Clowney, if they are able to keep him after the 2020 season. Not too many pieces missing on the Titans to put them as regular contenders for a late postseason run. Maybe Barmore is that last piece to the puzzle.

Latest CBS 2021 NFL mock draft predicts 5 Alabama stars in first round

Alabama stars are no strangers to the first round of NFL Drafts, see where CBS predicts the 2020 Alabama players to be drafted in 2021.

With the 2020 NFL season underway and Alabama’s season-opener less than a week away, is it too early to think about which Alabama stars will be potential first-round picks in the 2021 draft?

The correct answer is no, it is never too early.

CBS Sports’ Ryan Wilson offers his latest mock draft, and there certainly isn’t a shortage of Crimson tide products in the first round.

Five stars, all projected to serve key roles on both sides of the ball, are projected to go in the first night of the 2021 NFL draft, according to Wilson.

Here’s where he thinks they could land:

19. Tennessee Titans – Christian Barmore, DL

John David Mercer-USA TODAY Sports

Wilson has strong faith in the rising-junior, Barmore. Alabama has a long list of successful defensive linemen in the NFL. The Titans already hold claim to two former Alabama stars, former Heisman-winning running back Derrick Henry and former linebacker Rashaan Evans.

“Not surprisingly, 2019 first-rounder Jeffrey Simmons has been solid through the first two games but he use some help on the interior. Barmore, who was a part-time player a year ago, could be primed for a Quinnen Williams-type breakout campaign.”

Alabama LB Dylan Moses named Preseason Defensive Player of the Year

On Monday, Alabama linebacker Dylan Moses was named Fox Sports’ Preseason Defensive Player of the Year.

On Monday, Alabama linebacker Dylan Moses was named Fox Sports’ Preseason Defensive Player of the Year.

Moses was predicted to be a first-round pick entering the 2019 season until a torn ACL scratched those plans. Moses sat the entire season and was one of the players Alabama missed on defense the most.

In his first two seasons for Alabama, Moses had 116 tackles, 5 sacks, 1 forced fumble and 1 pass deflection.

As the season progresses, and if he can stay healthy, look for Moses to continue to climb the draft order in mock drafts leading up the draft. He has an incredible skill set, is a leader, and will be on a mission to prove himself in his senior season for the Crimson Tide.

6 Alabama players named to ESPN’s ‘Top 2020 college football players’

ESPN released their list of the top college football players for 2020, and 6 Alabama players were named.

There’s no denying that the Alabama Crimson Tide has a lot of talent this year on both sides of the ball. So much so, that many analysts have continued to pick the Crimson Tide to be the team to win it all.

ESPN released their list of the top college football players for 2020, and 6 Alabama players were named. It’s important to note that ESPN decided to keep everyone on this list, even if they opted out or their conferences postponed the season.

With all of that being said, let’s go over the 6 Alabama players named in order of ranking:

10. Patrick Surtain II – CB – Alabama

Here’s what ESPN had to say about Surtain:

“A former SEC All-Freshman selection and possible future first-round draft pick, Surtain is well on his way to following in footsteps of his father, Patrick Sr., a three-time Pro Bowl selection with the Miami Dolphins. Surtain is working on 25 straight starts and is featured on the watch lists for the Chuck Bednarik, Jim Thorpe and Bronko Nagurski awards.”

Surtain has been a starter for Alabama since starting as a true freshman in 2018. In his career, he has recorded 79 tackles, 4 forced fumbles, 1 fumble recovery and 2 interceptions. Surtain will be looking to have an NFL career like his father, Patrick Surtain, who spent 10 years in the NFL playing cornerback for the Miami Dolphins and Kansas City Chiefs.

Alabama football countdown: 32 days until kickoff

We are 32 days from Alabama football kicking off its season on the road against the Missouri Tigers to start a 10-game, SEC only schedule.

There has been a lot of uncertainty surrounding college football over the last couple of weeks, but as of right now, the season still looks like it’s a go for the SEC, ACC and Big 12.

So, what does that mean? It means that we can continue the Countdown to Kickoff en route to the Crimson Tide — and the rest of the SEC — getting things underway on Sept. 26.

With it now being Aug. 25, we are officially 32 days away from the start!

Standout inside linebacker Dylan Moses currently wears the No. 32 for Alabama. After returning from a torn ACL that ended his third season in Tuscaloosa could get started, the 6-foot-3, 240-pound defender is ready to take his rightful place amongst college football’s top off-ball linebackers in 2020.

Moses isn’t the only former Crimson Tide standout linebacker to wear the number, however. During the Nick Saban era, other players such as C.J. Mosley and Rashaan Evans have also donned the No. 32 uniform, and both players ended up being first-round draft picks.

Expect Moses to follow suite, as long as he can stay healthy this season!
