Ben Affleck dropping Dunkin’ coffee and boxes became a meme again while shooting an ad

The first big meme of 2024 is here.

Ben Affleck and Dunkin’ go together like, well, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez.

The actor and coffee enthusiast was spotted recreating a viral moment from 2020 in which he had a pile of Dunkin’ coffee and donuts and dropped them — this time, he’s wearing a t-shirt with his old pal Matt Damon on it.

But it was for an ad that he’s reportedly doing for a TikTok account. That didn’t stop people on X (formerly) Twitter from taking both the old and new snaps and making memes out of them, which might be the first big meme of 2024.

Here’s a roundup:

Ben Affleck’s Dunkin’ Donuts Super Bowl commercial inspired some hilarious jokes

Ben Affleck looked SO HAPPY.

Three things in life are constant: death, taxes and Ben Affleck jokes.

After Affleck looked absolutely miserable during last week’s Grammys ceremony, the Oscar-winning actor/filmmaker looked positively delighted as he starred in a Super Bowl commercial for Dunkin’ Donuts.

In the advertisement, Affleck shows everyone his side hustle as a Dunkin’ drive-thru cashier, much to the surprise of the doughnut chain’s customers. Jennifer Lopez makes a cameo at the end of the ad, joining in on the shock of her husband’s other gig.

Affleck’s love for Dunkin’ has always inspired the internet, and this Super Bowl commercial already looks like it’s going to be a hit.

That Medford, Massachusetts Dunkin’ undoubtedly will get plenty of business in wake of Affleck’s advertisement.

It’s a big Super Bowl for Affleck, with his next directorial effort Air and his possibly final performance as Bruce Wayne/Batman in The Flash getting Super Bowl commercials, too.

However, the focus is on Affleck’s joy in working as a Dunkin’ employee. The internet came ready with jokes.

Marcus Smart teases new Dunkin’ Donuts inspired PUMA shoes

Dunkin’ Donuts and PUMA are teaming up for a new sneaker ahead of this year’s Iced Coffee Day. Marcus Smart shared his excitement on his Instagram story.

Since he signed with athletic brand PUMA a few years ago, veteran Boston Celtics guard Marcus Smart has increasingly been a key ambassador for a company trying to break into the crowded world of basketball shoes. And from exciting footwear to eye-catching celebratory robes, Puma and Smart have been making waves.

Smart has also served as a spokesperson for Dunkin’ Donuts, and on May 25, world’s will collide for one very special collaboration. Wednesday, May 25 will mark Dunkin’ Iced Coffee Day, an annual event where the coffee giant donates funds from across its stores to local hospitals as part of the Dunkin’ Joy in Childhood Foundation.

To help commemorate the event, PUMA will drop a pair of sneakers that may be especially well-received in New England.

Smart, one of Puma’s most visible branded athletes, helped tease the new shoes the day before on his Instagram story. Smart has worked with Dunkin’ Donuts in the past, but never quite like this.

These shoes, available online and at select retailers, will reportedly cost between $80-$90. Puma intends to donate sneakers to partnering hospitals around the United States.

The brand has recently been flexing its collaborative muscles, with special apparel lines dedicated to everything from Batman to Garfield.
