Auburn offers 4-star offensive tackle committed to Alabama

Auburn is once again looking to pull off an impressive flip, this time of four-star offensive tackle Dontrell Glover.

A year after pulling off several impressive flips, [autotag]Hugh Freeze[/autotag] and Auburn are once again looking to pry recruits away from their rivals.

The Tigers extended an offer to 2025 four-star offensive tackle [autotag]Dontrell Glover[/autotag] on Thursday. He is from Fairburn, Georgia, and since April 13 has been committed to the Alabama Crimson Tide.

The 6-foot-3, 290-pounder plays for Langston Hughes High School, which could give Auburn an advantage in their pursuit of him. [autotag]Terrance Love[/autotag], a 2023 signee, played safety for Langston Hughes before coming to Auburn.

Glover is the No. 240 overall player and No. 20 offensive tackle in the 247Sports Composite ranking. He is also the No. 24 player from Georgia.

The Tigers already have one commit in their 2025 recruiting class in four-star defensive lineman [autotag]Mailk Autry[/autotag].

BREAKING: Alabama lands commitment from 2025 IOL Dontrell Glover

2025 interior offensive lineman Dontrell Glover announced his commitment to Alabama. He is the third commit in the 2025 recruiting class.

Interior offensive lineman Dontrell Glover of the 2025 class announced his commitment to Alabama on Thursday. Glover received an offer from Alabama a month ago.

Glover plays for Class 6A Georgia powerhouse, Langston Hughes High School. He is listed at 6-foot-3, 290 pounds. In his sophomore highlight tape, Glover displays his ability to pass protect and run block at an elite level. He also does a superb job at finishing off blocks as well.

Glover made three trips to Tuscaloosa before announcing his commitment. He took unofficial visits in January, March, and April. He was most recently on campus two weeks ago.

Glover is the third commit in the Tide’s 2025 recruiting class. He is joined by wide receiver Ryan Williams and offensive tackle Mason Short.

Ohio State offers fast-rising Georgia offensive tackle from familiar high school

The Buckeyes have entered the chat #GoBucks

[autotag]Ohio State[/autotag] football is no stranger to Langston Hughes High School which resides just outside Atlanta, Georgia. The Buckeyes just signed tight end [autotag]Jelani Thurman[/autotag] who prepped there and are also recruiting quarterback [autotag]Air Noland[/autotag], who is coming to Columbus soon to try and get a scholarship offer.

It doesn’t stop there with talented players at Langston Hughes, as today the Buckeyes offered a scholarship to offensive lineman [autotag]Dontrell Glover[/autotag]. He’s a large young man, standing 6-foot, 6-inches tall and weighing 280 pounds.

What’s interesting is that Glover has yet to be ranked by any of the larger services, even though he previously held offers from LSU, Georgia, and Texas.

There’s no doubt that a player with the offer list that Glover is accumulating,  will soon be making a rise up the recruiting ranking boards. Offensive tackle is a big need going forward and getting Glover’s attention early is a good start to his relationship with head coach [autotag]Ryan Day[/autotag] and offensive line coach [autotag]Justin Frye[/autotag].
