Alabama’s offensive line room received a huge boost on Saturday night. Washington transfer offensive lineman Parker Brailsford announced that he was transferring to the Crimson Tide.

The Alabama football program received some big-time news on Saturday night. Washington transfer offensive lineman Parker Brailsford announced that he was transferring to Alabama.

Brailsford, an Arizona native, spent two seasons in Seattle. During the 2023 season, Brailsford made 15 starts for the Huskies. He was a part of an offensive line unit that won the 2023 Joe Moore Award. The award recognizes the top offensive line unit in college football.

Brailsford appears to be the heavy favorite to be Alabama’s starting center for the 2024 season. 13 of his 15 starts this past season came at the center position.

Interestingly enough, Brailsford will join former offensive line coach Scott Huff in Tuscaloosa. The two will be instrumental in helping the offensive line thrive during the 2024 season.

Washington interior offensive lineman Parker Brailsford will be taking an official visit to Alabama this weekend. Brailsford spent the past two seasons at Washington.

According to BamaOnLine, Washington interior offensive lineman Parker Brailsford will be taking an official visit to Alabama this weekend. Brailsford will be one of four official visitors on campus this weekend. He joins 2024 edge rusher Noah Carter, 2024 wide receiver Ryan Williams, and Washington cornerback transfer Jabbar Muhammad.

Brailsford was a part of an offensive line unit that won the 2023 Joe Moore Award. He started in all 15 games for the Huskies this past season. The Arizona native made two starts at right guard and 13 starts at the center position.

Following the season, Brailsford was named an All-PAC-12 Second Team selection. It is also worth noting that he was a semifinalist for the Shaun Alexander Award.

Alabama has lost multiple offensive linemen to the NCAA transfer portal this offseason. One of which included former Alabama starting center Seth McLaughlin. Adding Brailsford could be viewed as an upgrade considering he was a part of a Huskies offensive line that won the most prestigious award given to a specific offensive line unit, the Joe Moore Award.

Harper is one of the highest-ranked interior offensive linemen in the ’25 recruiting class. He has not taken a visit to Tuscaloosa at this time. However, the Crimson Tide remains in the mix.

Harper plays for Calvary Baptist Academy in Shreveport, Louisiana. He is listed at 6-foot-5 and 300 pounds. There is the opportunity for Harper to play multiple positions at the college level. At this time, it is unclear what position the Alabama coaching staff is recruiting Harper to play.

Former Alabama IOL Terrence Ferguson transfers to Florida State

Former Alabama interior offensive lineman Terrence Ferguson announced that he was transferring to Florida State.

Former Alabama interior offensive lineman Terrence Ferguson announced that he was transferring to Florida State on Thursday afternoon.

Ferguson, a Georgia native, spent three seasons at Alabama. During that time, Ferguson played in 11 games. The lone start of his Alabama career came against South Florida in Week 3 of the 2023 season.

Ferguson is the third former Alabama player who has transferred to the Seminoles. He joins former teammates, Earl Little Jr. and Malik Benson. The three will likely team up again next season in Tallahassee to play for head coach Mike Norvell.

Needless to say, it will be interesting to see how Ferguson performs at Florida State. He was expected to compete for the starting center position at Alabama next season. Now, he will look to earn a spot along the Seminoles offensive line.

2025 interior offensive lineman Peter Langi received an offer from Alabama. Langi is from San Francisco, California.

The Alabama football coaching staff extended an offer to 2025 interior offensive lineman Peter Langi on Saturday.

Langi plays for Archbishop Riordan High School in San Francisco, California. Prior to transferring to play for the Crusaders, Langi played for California high school powerhouse, Mater Dei High School.

Langi is listed at 6-foot-5 and 330 pounds. Langi has the frame to play at the college level right now. However, he will have to wait another year to do so.

Several programs that Langi has visited thus far are Arizona, Cal-Berkeley, UCLA, and USC.

Alabama lands commitment of 2024 IOL, Alabama native William Sanders

2024 interior offensive lineman William Sanders chose to commit to Alabama over others including LSU and Mississippi State.

Interior offensive lineman William Sanders of the 2024 class officially committed to Alabama. Sanders chose the Crimson Tide over LSU and Mississippi State.

Sanders has always had an interest in Alabama, considering that he grew up near Tuscaloosa. After receiving an offer from Alabama in June, Sanders returned for Alabama’s June cookout on June 23.

His commitment gives Alabama two offensive line commits in the 2024 recruiting class, with the other being three-star center Joseph Ionata.

As Sanders continues to mature and develop, his recruiting ranking will likely improve. As it stands, most recruiting sites have him listed as a three-star. Over the course of his senior season, we expect him to be elevated to a four-star.

Nonetheless, Alabama offensive line coach Eric Wolford has added another key offensive line target to the recruiting class. His commitment is a huge one for the Crimson Tide.

2024 IOL, Texas native Casey Poe commits to Alabama

2024 interior offensive lineman Casey Poe announced his commitment to Alabama on Wednesday. Poe chose the Crimson Tide over Texas Tech and Oklahoma among others.

Alabama received a huge commitment on Wednesday when 2024 interior offensive lineman Casey Poe announced his commitment to the Crimson Tide. Poe chose Alabama over LSU, Oklahoma, and Texas Tech among others.

Poe took an official visit to Alabama from June 23-25. The lifelong Alabama fan has been a priority offensive line target for offensive line coach Eric Wolford for quite some time. Now, the two will be able to coincide in Tuscaloosa.

Poe is physical at the point of attack which is something that Wolford really likes. He does a good job of finishing off blocks as well.

As a junior at Lindale High School, Poe was a unanimous first-team selection in Texas Texas District 9-4A D-1.

Poe is the second offensive linemen to commt to Alabama as a part of the 2024 recruiting class. The other commit is three-star center Joseph Ionata.

2025 interior offensive lineman Dontrell Glover announced his commitment to Alabama. He is the third commit in the 2025 recruiting class.

Glover plays for Class 6A Georgia powerhouse, Langston Hughes High School. He is listed at 6-foot-3, 290 pounds. In his sophomore highlight tape, Glover displays his ability to pass protect and run block at an elite level. He also does a superb job at finishing off blocks as well.

Glover made three trips to Tuscaloosa before announcing his commitment. He took unofficial visits in January, March, and April. He was most recently on campus two weeks ago.

Glover is the third commit in the Tide’s 2025 recruiting class. He is joined by wide receiver Ryan Williams and offensive tackle Mason Short.

2024 4-Star IOL Jordan Seaton lists Alabama as a finalist in his recruitment

2024 offensive tackle Jordan Seaton holds over 30 offers and cut his list down to 14 on Saturday. Alabama made the cut.

Alabama just increased its odds of landing one of the elite offensive tackles in the 2024 recruiting cycle. On Saturday, 2024 four-star offensive tackle Jordan Seaton released his top-14 schools with Alabama making the list as a finalist.

Seaton plays for St. John’s High School in Washington, DC. At 6-foot-5, 287 pounds, Seaton could play any position along the offensive front. His strength and technique are two traits that power-five programs seem to like.

247Sports’ Brian Dohn had this to say in regard to the type of player Seaton is:

Has frame to play either guard or tackle at college level. Plays left tackle in high school and has legitimate size and length. Saw play on multiple occasions during 2022 season and performed well against strong competition. High level athleticism combined with a nasty streak. Is physical and active with hands. Has forceful initial punch. Quick feet allows for impressive lateral movement. Has ability to sink hips and explode into defender. Brings ferocious attitude to line of scrimmage.

According to On3’s RPM, Ohio State has the greatest likelihood to land Seaton at 84.3% likelihood.
