Week 7 Primetime DFS Domination

Lineup recommendations for DraftKings and FanDuel for Week 7 DFS fantasy football primetime slate.

The massive popularity of small DFS slates has propelled us to expand our DFS coverage. I will give you my favorite lineup for the Primetime Slate each week. We will release these as soon as both sites release their pricing.

Recommended Primetime DFS lineups

DK Lineup: QB Baker Mayfield ($6.8k), RB Derrick Henry ($8.0k), RB J.K. Dobbins ($6.3k), WR Mike Evans ($7.3k), WR Zay Flowers ($6.7k), WR Michael Wilson ($4.6k), TE Cade Otton ($3.6k), FLEX Sean Tucker ($4.0k), DST Arizona Cardinals ($2.5k)

FD Lineup: QB Baker Mayfield ($8.3k), RB Derrick Henry ($9.3k), RB J.K. Dobbins ($7.3k), WR Mike Evans ($8.0k), WR Ladd McConkey ($6.0k), WR Rashod Bateman ($5.6k), TE Cade Otton ($5.4k), FLEX Trey McBride ($5.8k), DST Los Angeles Chargers ($3.3k)

I’d love to use Lamar Jackson, but his price is too high, and Baker Mayfield‘s matchup is just as juicy. Justin Herbert is the only other QB I would consider. If you use Jackson, look to stack with Zay Flowers, and Isaiah Likely, and run it back with Chris Godwin or Mike Evans. Just know that it is nearly impossible to afford Jackson and Derrick Henry together.

Speaking of Henry, I do not see a legit pivot from him, unless you go dirt cheap here and load up at WR. James Conner is the closest to a pivot, but I don’t love it. At RB2, consider one of the Buccaneers’ trio as a pivot from J.K. Dobbins. You can also consider one of the Steelers. If you don’t go double-TE, you must use Sean Tucker at FLEX.

Take your pick between Mike Evans (hamstring, questionable) and Chris Godwin at WR1. Zay Flowers and Davante Adams can sub in at WR1. That said, I love Flowers at WR2. Michael Wilson (ankle), Quentin Johnston (ankle), and Ladd McConkey (hip) are all fighting maladies, but each is in play as a pivot at WR2 or as a starter at WR3. If you don’t play Flowers, Rashod Bateman should be your WR3. Joshua Palmer or Greg Dortch could have value if the injured WRs in front of them end up out. Zay Jones, Nelson Agholor, and Sterling Shepard are potential punts.

The preference is to fit both Trey McBride and Cade Otton into the same lineup. Isaiah Likely is a semi-safe pivot from McBride. Instead of Otton, Tyler Conklin (hip) and Will Dissly (shoulder) could have value, assuming they play.

A good way to start your weekly homework for DFS (daily fantasy sports) play is to analyze the early Vegas odds around Week 7.

These guys have a long history of making money off of setting the right game spread and points scored. So it can be an early indicator of teams to target due to high-scoring potential, and teams to avoid for the opposite reason.

Week 6 Primetime DFS Domination

Lineup recommendations for DraftKings and FanDuel for Week 6 DFS fantasy football primetime slate.

The massive popularity of small DFS slates has propelled us to expand our DFS coverage. I will give you my favorite lineup for the Primetime Slate each week. We will release these as soon as both sites release their pricing.

Recommended Primetime DFS lineups

DK Lineup: QB Joe Burrow ($6.9k), RB Breece Hall ($6.8k), RB Zack Moss ($5.9k), WR Ja’Marr Chase ($8.4k), WR Wan’Dale Robinson ($6.1k), WR Darius Slayton ($4.6k), TE Dalton Kincaid ($5.1k), FLEX Tyler Conklin ($3.6k), DST New York Giants ($2.6k)

[lawrence-related id=494370]

FD Lineup: QB Joe Burrow ($8.1k), RB Breece Hall ($8.0k), RB Zack Moss ($6.5k), WR Ja’Marr Chase ($9.5k), WR Wan’Dale Robinson ($6.3k), WR Allen Lazard ($5.8k), TE Dalton Kincaid ($6.1k), FLEX Tyrone Tracy Jr. ($5.8k), DST New York Giants ($3.1k)

If I fade Joe BurrowDaniel Jones will be my pivot. That said, watch the weather for this game. The rain is expected to hold off until after the game, but it could get sloppy if it hits early. In that case, I would rather take the flier on Aaron Rodgers on MNF. I’m not paying up for Josh Allen (concussion???) against the Jets defense.

Tyrone Tracy Jr. or Ray Davis can be used as your flex if their respective lead backs miss the game because of their injuries. If James Cook (toe) gets the go-ahead, he could be an RB1 pivot. Likewise, if Devin Singletary (groin) plays, he is a great RB2 pivot. Chase Brown (quad) should play this weekend. If he goes, that will cut into Zack Moss‘ value, making the RB2 pivot considerably easier. There also is an argument for making two identical lineups, swapping out only Moss for Brown.

Ja’Marr Chase will approach 100% ownership. The obvious pivot is Tee Higgins. I prefer Chase considering the price difference. If you want a sneakier pivot, use Garrett Wilson. The coaching change could open up the offense. Khalil Shakir (ankle, questionable) seems shaky for Monday. The matchup isn’t great, either. Still, he could see enough volume to be a WR2 pivot. Keon ColemanMike Williams, Andrei Iosivas, and Mack Hollins (shoulder) all could step in at WR3 or FLEX if you need to save money.

Tyler Conklin (hip) is the only safe pivot at TE. You also can roll him out at flex in a double-TE lineup. Mike Gesicki and Erick All are splitting snaps, but either could be used at TE if you want to afford both Chase and Wilson at WR.

Week 5 Primetime DFS Domination

Lineup recommendations for DraftKings and FanDuel for Week 3 DFS fantasy football primetime slate.

The massive popularity of small DFS slates has propelled us to expand our DFS coverage. I will give you my favorite lineup for the Primetime Slate each week. We will release these as soon as both sites release their pricing.

Recommended Primetime DFS lineups

DK Lineup: QB Justin Fields ($5.8k), RB Alvin Kamara ($7.5k), RB Najee Harris ($5.9k), WR Xavier Worthy ($6.3k), WR George Pickens ($6.0k), WR Jalen Tolbert ($4.7k), TE Jake Ferguson ($4.8k), FLEX Travis Kelce ($5.8k), DST Kansas City Chiefs ($3.1k)

[lawrence-related id=494091]

FD Lineup: QB Justin Fields ($7.6k), RB Alvin Kamara ($8.6k), RB Najee Harris ($6.5k), WR Chris Olave ($6.9k), WR George Pickens ($6.0k), WR Xavier Worthy ($6.2k), TE Travis Kelce ($7.1k), FLEX Kareem Hunt ($5.5k), DST Kansas City Chiefs ($4.6k)

Patrick Mahomes is the only safe pivot at QB. His price is considerably higher than Justin Fields, so be prepared to get cheaper at WR if you opt for this path.

Kareem Hunt (shoulder) escaped an injury designation and will play. Alvin Kamara (hip/ribs) also avoided an injury label and will play. If he suffers a pregame setback, use Hunt or Jamaal Williams and then spend up at WR and FLEX.

Any WR pivot should include some combination of CeeDee LambRashid Shaheed, JuJu Smith-SchusterJalen Tolbert, and Justin Watson.

I support using Pat Freiermuth as a TE pivot or FLEX play. In the TE wasteland, it is amazing that we have several solid plays at the position on this small slate. Double-TE needs to be on the table.

Week 4 Primetime DFS Domination

Lineup recommendations for DraftKings and FanDuel for Week 3 DFS fantasy football primetime slate.

The massive popularity of small DFS slates has propelled us to expand our DFS coverage. I will give you my favorite lineup for the Primetime Slate each week. We will release these as soon as both sites release their pricing.

Recommended Primetime DFS lineups

DK Lineup: QB Josh Allen ($7.8k), RB Derrick Henry ($6.8k), RB Zach Charbonnet ($6.2k), WR DK Metcalf ($6.5k), WR Khalil Shakir ($5.6k), WR DeAndre Hopkins ($5.4k), TE Noah Fant ($3.4k), FLEX Dalton Kincaid ($5.2k), DST Tennessee Titans ($3.0k)

[lawrence-related id=493704]

FD Lineup: QB Josh Allen ($9.2k), RB Derrick Henry ($8.4k), RB David Montgomery ($7.4k), WR Jaxon Smith-Njigba ($6.2k), WR Jameson Williams ($6.1k), WR Khalil Shakir ($6.0k), TE Dalton Kincaid ($6.1k), FLEX Zach Charbonnet ($7.0k), DST Miami Dolphins ($3.5k)

Jared Goff would be my preference as a pivot QB. I don’t mind Lamar Jackson, but the price is higher than I prefer if pivoting. If Tyler Huntley starts, he can be a nice punt option, and he boosts the value of his weapons.

If Kenneth Walker III (oblique) remains out, roll with Zach Charbonnet. Otherwise, flip to James Cook, and save money at TE or at WR. Use either Detroit Lions back as an alternative. Skip the backs in the Tennessee Titans at the Miami Dolphins game.

Amon-Ra St. Brown has a good matchup, but I cannot afford him unless I pivot from Allen to Goff or Geno Smith. Jameson Williams, Calvin Ridley, Zay Flowers, and Jaxon Smith-Njigba all deserve consideration at WR2. You can also consider Jaylen Waddle, but only if Huntley starts at QB. Curtis Samuel, Nelson Agholor, and Rashod Bateman are the only replacement options for WR3.

If Sam LaPorta (ankle) misses this game, Brock Wright should be a set-it-and-forget-it play. Josh WhyleJonnu SmithDawson Knox, and Noah Fant can each be used at TE or FLEX.

[lawrence-related id=493330]

FD Lineup: QB Joe Burrow ($7.4k), RB Bijan Robinson ($8.5k), RB James Cook ($7.6k), WR Ja’Marr Chase ($8.7k), WR Xavier Worthy ($6.0k), WR Gabe Davis ($5.9k), TE Kyle Pitts ($6.2k), FLEX Zack Moss ($6.3k), DST Cincinnati Bengals ($3.1k)

Kirk Cousins is my pivot QB of preference. Trevor Lawrence is the only quarterback you should completely fade.

At RB, Brian Robinson Jr. and the Chiefs’ duo are the pair I’d consider subbing in. I don’t hate Travis Etienne‘s matchup, but I don’t love the price. If Tank Bigsby (shoulder) is out, Etienne deserves more consideration.

I’m fading Christian Kirk and Drake London. Despite the positive matchup, I also do not want to play Tee Higgins (hamstring) in his first game back. Pivots include Brian Thomas Jr.Khalil ShakirXavier Worthy, Keon Coleman, and Andrei Iosivas.

I recommend skipping Travis Kelce and Dalton Kincaid at TE or flex until they perform like their elite talents. If he plays, consider subbing the pair of Mike Gesicki (calf) and Rashee Rice for Pitts and Moss. Evan Engram (hamstring) missed last week and is iffy once again. If he is out, Brenton Strange could be a cheap punt TE.
