DFS Fantasy Football: Favorite Pro Plays – Week 9

WinDailySports’ CEO Jason Mezrahi checks in with his top Week 9 DFS fantasy football for FanDuel and DraftKings

Top-ranked daily fantasy sports pro Jason Mezrahi, founder and CEO of WinDailySports.com, breaks down his favorite DFS plays at various salary ranges for Week 9 of the NFL season.

Even though we have had great results in picking top DFS plays in this article every week, I’m going to let you in on a little secret: Our projection model at WinDailySports.com has been firing on all cylinders to start the season so what I will do in this article is list some of our highest projected players based off raw points and our highest point per dollar plays based on DraftKings.com pricing.

These are some of the players Jason will be locking in his lineups on DraftKings and FanDuel for this weekend’s slate.

QUARTERBACKS

PATRICK MAHOMES, KC

$8,100 DRAFTKINGS, $9,300 FANDUEL

Patrick Mahomes is doing Patrick Mahomes things. Averaging 27.5 DraftKings points a game and coming off a 39.6 point performance in Week 8 has him on the top of the projection models at WinDailySports.com. Vegas has the Chiefs scoring 31 points versus the Panthers, which should lead to another massive performance by Mahomes. What I like about this matchup is the simple fact that I think Carolina can keep pace. The Panthers offense has been scoring points and with McCaffrey expected back this week, this game should stay competitive for 4 quarters, which should provide Mahomes all the time needed to put up 30+ points in Week 9.

JOSH ALLEN, BUF

$7,000 DRAFTKINGS, $8,200 FANDUEL

I think the saying goes ““Nothing is certain except for death, taxes, and targeting Quarterbacks against the Seattle defense.”

It didn’t work out so well last week because Jimmy G started bad and then got hurt, but I’m ready to go back to the well this week. The rushing floor combined with the massive upside that this matchup brings makes me want to own shares of Allen in tournaments. The Seahawks rank 32nd against opposing quarterbacks and allow a league-worst 366 passing yards per game. Vegas has set a over/under of 55 and has this as one of highest paced scoring games of the entire slate. I will be stacking this game with both Allen and Russell Wilson and their respective pass catchers in what I believe to be one of the best game environments of the entire slate.

RUNNING BACKS

DALVIN COOK, MIN

$8,200 DRAFTKINGS, $9,300 FANDUEL

Dalvin Cook came back with a vengeance and scored 51 DraftKings points in Week 8, which could cause his ownership to rise. Regardless, he still is the top running back on the slate. He is so heavily involved in the Viking offense, it will be a very tough fade for cash games. The matchup versus the Lions is better than last week and he now faces off against the worst run defense in the league. Ownership would be the only reason to fade him in tournaments and if you plan on doing so, James Conner presents a nice value matching up against the Dallas Cowboys.

JOSH JACOBS, LV

$6,300 DRAFTKINGS, $7,700 FANDUEL

Josh Jacobs presents a nice value due to his depressed price and huge workload. Coming off two bad games and a bye week, the pricing algorithm sent Josh Jacobs to the mid-tier, which lands him in a great rebound spot against the Chargers in Week 9. This is another game where Vegas is predicting a high pace, back-and-forth shootout. The total currently sits at 53 with the Chargers favored by 1 point. With Jacobs being the safest Raider to roster I love the floor he provides for both cash games and tournaments. Don’t be surprised to see a 100+ yard, two-touchdown game out of Jacobs in Week 9.

WIDE RECEIVERS

KEENAN ALLEN, LAC

$7,000 DRAFTKINGS, $7,500 FANDUEL

Keenan Allen has been one of the most consistent receivers this year, averaging 18.7 fantasy points per game and has scored 20+ in the past 2 games. Like I stated above, this should be a fast-paced matchup versus the Raiders and the safest way to get exposure to the Chargers passing attack is through Allen. The Raiders rank 18th against opposing wide receivers and this should be a spot that Keenan can exploit and hit his ceiling game.

STEFON DIGGS, BUF

$7,400 DRAFTKINGS, $7,600 FANDUEL

Stefon Diggs will have to have a massive game to keep pace with Russell Wilson and the aerial attack of the Seahawks. Diggs will be in almost all of my builds this week and I’m fully confident that he will get 20+ points in this matchup versus the worst defense in defending the pass in the entire league. Every team has torched the Seahawks and I believe Josh Allen and Diggs can do the same in Week 9. Diggs is a target monster, who has three 100+ receiving yard games on the season, and the 4th will come in Week 9.

TIGHT ENDS

TRAVIS KELCE, KC

$7,200 DRAFTKINGS, $8,000 FANDUEL

Coming off a big Week 8, I will be going back to Travis Kelce in Week 9. It’s not often that you can get wide receiver production from your tight end slot, but Kelce provides that upside every week. He is averaging 18.8 DraftKings points per game and due to his price tag, I believe the field will flock to cheaper tight ends which will provide leverage for Kelce owners in tournaments. Waller and Andrews are fine plays, and I will have shares of them both, but I’m currently trying to find a way to lock Kelce in my main lineup for Week 9.

NOAH FANT, DEN

$4,600 DRAFTKINGS, $5,800 FANDUEL

Noah Fant is receiving more and more targets each week but hasn’t found the end zone since Week 2. This should all change in Week 9, when he visits Atlanta and the defense that allows the 2nd most passing yards per game. The Falcons struggle against defending the pass at the tight end specifically so this should bode well for Fant in Week 9. If Fant finds pay dirt in Week 9 he has the ability to get 20+ point production at a value price.

Mark Andrews is also priced down in this range on DraftKings due to his recent production and the tougher matchup. I’m fine with splitting your ownership between the two tight ends on DraftKings.

DEFENSES

PITTSBURGH STEELERS

$4,900 DRAFTKINGS, $5,000 FANDUEL

If you can afford the Steelers you play them in Week 9. The Cowboys have mailed it in for the season and this offense has grinded to a halt. The Steelers defense has forced 13 turnovers and have sacked their opponents 30 times in 7 games to start this season. The numbers don’t lie and this defense should wreak havoc in Week 9 against their easiest opponent to date. The price is high but, if you can get there, lock them in.

HOUSTON TEXANS

$3,100 DRAFTKINGS, $3,700 FANDUEL

This Texan defense hasn’t been anything special to start the season and this is more about the matchup than anything else. They get to face off against Jace Luton and a banged up Jaguar offense, at a value price tag. Vegas agrees and has the Jaguars projected to only score 21 points, which is one of the lowest totals on the slate. The Texans provide the safest landing spot if you cant afford to pay up for the Steelers.

DFS Fantasy Football: Favorite Pro Plays – Week 8

WinDailySports’ CEO Jason Mezrahi checks in with his top Week 8 DFS fantasy football for FanDuel and DraftKings

QUARTERBACKS

AARON RODGERS, GB

$7,600 DRAFTKINGS, $8,400 FANDUEL

I’m coming off my second biggest week of the year so far, and it all started with my Quarterback write up last week which secured me a $15,000 victory on DraftKings. The stack that got me there was Kyler Murray with DeAndre Hopkins and running it back with Tyler Lockett. The stack was under owned and simply smashed.

The stack that can help get us there this week is a Aaron Rodgers to Davante Adams stack either paired with a Viking receiver or running back if Dalvin Cook plays. The matchup versus the Vikings is great. They rank 25th against opposing quarterbacks and allow the 29th most passing yards per game. Rodgers will light up this Viking defense and the easy pairing with Adams makes him a great play for cash and tournaments.

JOE BURROW, CIN

$6,200 DRAFTKINGS, $7,600 FANDUEL

Joe Burrow is putting up ridiculous stats as a rookie. He has thrown for over 300+ yards in 5 out of the 7 games so far this season with his last one breaking the 400 yard mark. He has 9 passing touchdowns and also is involved in the running game with 3 rushing touchdowns on the season. The ceiling is high and the price is right on both sites. The discount combined with the upside is too much to pass up on. Tennessee has allowed the 26th most passing yards per game and has been involved in high scoring affairs almost every week which sets Burrow up nicely in your lineups in week 8.

RUNNING BACKS

DERRICK HENRY, TEN

$8,000 DRAFTKINGS, $9,500 FANDUEL

We faded Henry last week and its time to hop back on the Henry train if we can afford it in Week 8. Vegas has the Titans by 5.5 points which should lead into a positive game script for Henry and the run game. This will be a high scoring affair, with Vegas having the total at 53.5 points and I’m expecting another 2 touchdown game out of Henry in this one. The Bengals are allowing the 28th most rushing yards per game and now get to face the best running back in the game. There will be no stopping Henry in week 8 and the upside and safety is just too much to pass up on.

KAREEM HUNT, CLE

$6,900 DRAFTKINGS, $8,200 FANDUEL

Most of the Cleveland offense should now be running through Kareem Hunt with Nick Chubb and Odell Beckham Jr. injured. Hunt had 18 touches and 3 receptions and was very active in the game versus the Bengals but didn’t break out for that massive game. I truly hope some people hop off the wagon this week driving his ownership down. The Raiders rank 31st against opposing running backs and provide an exploitable matchup for Hunt. The price on DraftKings is great and he will be a lock in most of my lineups on their platform.

WIDE RECEIVERS

DAVANTE ADAMS, GB

$8,800 DRAFTKINGS, $9,100 FANDUEL

There is not much of a write up needed here other than this guy is great at football and that he is really good friends with Aaron Rodgers. He has two 44+ point DraftKings performances on the season and if I played him over DeAndre Hopkins in my main lineup last week I would have won $50,000 instead of $15,000. I am not making that same mistake this week and I will do whatever I can to squeeze him into my lineups. The Vikings rank 29th against opposing wide receivers and also allow the 29th most passing yards per game. Get him into your cash and tournament lineups where you can afford the salary.

TYLER BOYD, CIN

$6,600 DRAFTKINGS, $6,400 FANDUEL

Both Tyler Boyd and AJ Green are in a great spot in Week 8. Whichever one finds the end zone more often will end up with the better performance, but they both are receiving a ton of targets week in and week out. Boyd is coming off a 11 reception 101 yard receiving game where he dropped 30 DraftKings points. I told you I like this game as a game stack and will be attacking it from every angle. The Titans rank 28th against opposing receivers so both of these guys should be in your player pool in Week 8.

TIGHT ENDS

DARREN WALLER, LV

$5,600 DRAFTKINGS, $6,800 FANDUEL

Waller has been super consistent all year and is averaging 15 DraftKings points per game. He is the primary target for Carr and provides a safe floor at a somewhat volatile tight end position. What makes this one of the better plays on the board is the matchup itself. The Browns have struggled to cover tight ends all season and rank 28th against opposing tight ends. Vegas has this as an up pace game with the Raiders trailing which should provide late looks to Waller in the fourth quarter which is what you want in your lineups.

HARRISON BRYANT, CLE

$3,200 DRAFTKINGS, $5,000 FANDUEL

Within the same game Harrison Bryant is a great value play in a high paced matchup versus the Raiders. With the Browns banged up, more targets should be heading Bryant’s way. He is involved in the red zone and is coming off a 2 touchdown game. At near minimum salary on both sites you don’t need much from Bryant. If we can get 4 catches for 40+ yards and a touchdown I will be more than fine with that output in Week 8.

DEFENSES

KANSAS CITY CHIEFS

$4,500 DRAFTKINGS, $5,000 FANDUEL

Like I told you last week, I will be targeting the Jets with my opposing defenses. It’s the safest way to play it and I will continue attacking it week in week out. The Jets scored more than 0 in Week 7, but I still have them under 10 points in this matchup versus the Chiefs. On a side note one of my favorite futures bets is taking the Jets under 1.5 wins on the season.

NEW ORLEANS SAINTS

$3,400 DRAFTKINGS, $3,600 FANDUEL

The Saints have the pleasure of visiting the Bears after their ugly performance against the Rams on Monday night. The Bears put up 10 points to a Rams defense and throughout most of the game Nick Foles and the Bears offense truly struggled putting drives together. The Saints defense hasn’tbeen great on the season but they have forced 5 turnovers through 6 games and recorded 14 sacks so they provide a nice value in Week 8.

DFS Fantasy Football: Favorite Pro Plays – Week 7

WinDailySports’ CEO Jason Mezrahi checks in with his top Week 7 DFS fantasy football for FanDuel and DraftKings

Top-ranked daily fantasy sports pro Jason Mezrahi, founder and CEO of WinDailySports.com, breaks down his favorite DFS plays at various salary ranges for Week 7 of the NFL season.

QUARTERBACKS

RUSSELL WILSON, SEA

$8,000 DRAFTKINGS, $8,700 FANDUEL

This will be a pretty easy write up. Russell Wilson is very good at football and that in turn reflects a very good daily fantasy football play. The man is on his way to being crowned the MVP and is averaging a whopping 31.9 DraftKings points per game. Pair that with a high paced matchup versus the Arizona Cardinals with Vegas setting the total at 56 and we should be in a great spot for another 30+ point performance for Russell Wilson. If you would like to pivot off this game get some shares of Aaron Rodgers in a bounce back spot versus the Houston Texans. I love the thought of rostering Rodgers after he was embarrassed by the Buccaneer defense.

KYLER MURRAY, ARI

$7,100 DRAFTKINGS, $8,400 FANDUEL

With this being the second highest scoring game of the slate, give me the arm and legs of Kyler Murray. The man has 10 passing touchdowns and 6 rushing touchdowns, which is more than most running backs in the league right now. The rushing upside and floor Murray provides is second only to Lamar Jackson. This matchup is the best on the board and Seattle is ranked 32nd against opposing quarterbacks, allowing 371 passing yards per game. This game has game stack written all over it.

RUNNING BACKS

AARON JONES, GB

$7,200 DRAFTKINGS, $8,500 FANDUEL

This matchup is a juicy one and I love this game as another game stack right up there with the Arizona vs. Seattle game. The Texans have one of the worst overall defenses in the league and are terrible at defending the run. They rank 27th against opposing running backs and are allowing a league worst 177 rushing yards per game on the season. Aaron Jones doesn’t have a ceiling as we have seen games where he has 3 touchdowns this season and dropped 48.6 DraftKings points. I’m not saying he will do that again but he certainly does have the proper matchup to do so. He is getting the touches every week and is always involved in the passing game as well. Lock Aaron Jones up in cash games and your tournament lineups.

KAREEM HUNT, CLE

$6,800 DRAFTKINGS, $7,100 FANDUEL

Kareem Hunt is currently carrying the questionable tag while I’m writing this on Thursday morning, but this was a similar situation last week as well. As long as he logs a practice some time to finish off this week he should smash in week 7. The Bengals allow 142 rushing yards per game and rank 27th in the league at defending running backs through 6 weeks. Since Chubb has been injured we haven’t seen that monster game out of Hunt yet, which should keep his ownership down and I think this is the week to pounce on him. The play is strong on both sites but given the PPR upside on DraftKings I like him better there. Alvin Kamara is another great play if you can afford him and feel free to take some shots on Chris Carson, Antonio Gibson, and Justin Jackson in tournaments.

WIDE RECEIVERS

DEANDRE HOPKINS, ARI

$8,200 DRAFTKINGS, $9,000 FANDUEL

Week 6 got away from the Cardinals passing game real quick as they took a huge lead early and really had no need to pass the ball in the second half because they had a very comfortable lead against Andy Dalton and the Cowboys. It was his Hopkins’ first mediocre performance of the season and I think he gets right back to his elite level this week in a dream matchup versus the Seahawks.

Russell Wilson and the Seahawks will put up points and if all goes as planned the Cardinals should be trailing in this game giving a bump to the passing game. The Seahawks are league worst at giving up points to the wide receiver position and are allowing 371 passing yards per game. A elite wide receiver going into an elite matchup should make Hopkins a lock in your cash games and single entry tournaments.

DK METCALF, SEA

$7,200 DRAFTKINGS, $7,300 FANDUEL

As I stated above, I love this Arizona vs Seattle game and I will be stacking it several different ways. Metcalf has emerged as the #1 receiver in this offense and the numbers can back it up. He is averaging 21.3 DraftKings points per game and his lowest output game of the season was a 92 yard receiving game, which is pretty darn impressive if you ask me. This Arizona pass defense is good, but I think Russell Wilson is better and he will find ways to get Metcalf the ball in Week 7. In lineups that you are not running it back with the Seattle passing game load up on Chris Carson as a strong pivot.

TIGHT ENDS

TJ HOCKENSON, DET

$5,000 DRAFTKINGS, $5,900 FANDUEL

The Atlanta defense is still one of the worst in the league and my write up will never be complete without targeting their defense. Hockenson has been consistently good but not great. I like consistency when drafting tight ends because the last thing you want is to finish your day with 0-2 points from the position. In Hockenson’s worst game this season he finished with 9.3 DraftKings points which is a nice floor for a tight end, and he has the upside to breakout for 20 in this matchup. The Falcons rank 28th against opposing tight ends and are allowing 337 passing yards through the first 6 weeks. I like the pairing of Stafford to Hockenson in a game stack running it back with some Falcon receivers or playing Hockenson by himself as a one off.

ROBERT TONYAN, GB

$4,600 DRAFTKINGS, $6,000 FANDUEL

Aaron Rodgers and the Packers got embarrassed in Week 6 by the Buccaneers and I love this spot for the entire Packers offense. The Texans are bad at defending the tight end and are ranked 27th through 6 weeks. Tonyan had an ankle injury that briefly forced him out of the game versus the Bucs so keep an eye out for practice reports but he came back in and finished the game so I’m assuming he will be fine. We want exposure to this game and this offense. If you can’t find a way to get Rodgers, Jones, or Adams then Tonyan is your guy at a fair price on both sites.

DEFENSES

BUFFALO BILLS

$4,700 DRAFTKINGS, $5,000 FANDUEL

There will be a simple rule moving forward for the rest of the year. Whenever you can afford to play the Defense versus the New York Jets you do so. This is one of the worst offenses ever assembled and when you pair that with the leadership from Adam Gase you truly can’t go wrong in targeting them. The Jets are almost league worst in every offensive category and just got shut out by the Dolphins. If you got the salary leftover please play the Bills coming off a tough game versus the Chiefs.

CLEVELAND BROWNS

$2,800 DRAFTKINGS, $4,700 FANDUEL

We will need to get some salary relief in order to pay up for some key offensive players and I think the Browns provide the best option versus the Bengals. They haven’t been great by any means but at $2,800 on DraftKings I will take a couple shots. On FanDuel just pay the extra $300 and play it safe with the Bills. We are hoping for a couple of sacks and if we get lucky maybe a pick 6 thrown by Joe Burrow who has thrown an interception in each of his last 3 games.

DFS Fantasy Football: Favorite Pro Plays – Week 6

QUARTERBACKS

DESHAUN WATSON, HOU

$7,000 DRAFTKINGS, $8,200 FANDUEL

Coming off back-to-back 300-yard passing games and softer matchups than in previous weeks, it looks like Watson has found his way in 2020. The five interceptions through as many weeks keeps him slightly out of the elite category but still on my radar for DFS.

The matchup versus the Titans is good and the Texans run game hasn’t proven to be a focal point of this offense.  The Titans are coming in hot offensively and will put up points versus the mediocre at best Texans defense. Vegas has the Titans at -3 scoring 28 points with the Texans trailing and scoring 25. If the game script holds true we can see another late surge by Watson in the second half playing catch up and racking up fantasy points for you in Week 6.

BEN ROETHLISBERGER, PIT

$6,700 DRAFTKINGS, $7,600 FANDUEL

Big Ben could be in the early lead for comeback player of the year in the NFL. Both him and Cam Newton are competing for that spot and I was contemplating both of them for this write up. I like Cam as well, but I think the pace of that game will be slowed by the lack of fire power from the Denver side, so I chose to lock in Big Ben.

Through four games this season, he has thrown for 1,016 yards and 10 touchdowns, while only throwing one interception. He has the weapons around him to put up big games each week and it has led to a average of 21.2 DraftKings points per game. A home matchup versus Cleveland, who ranks 24th against opposing quarterbacks and allowing 297 yards passing per game, sets Ben up for his biggest game of the season. Cleveland has been involved in several shootout games to start the season and Vegas believes another one is coming by unveiling a 51 Over/Under for this game. If all holds true we can expect a 300-yard and 3-touchdown game coming in Week 6 for Big Ben.

RUNNING BACKS

DERRICK HENRY, TEN

$7,300 DRAFTKINGS, $9,000 FANDUEL

All aboard the Derrick Henry train in Week 6. If we can find a way to lock in Deshaun Watson and Derrick Henry in our lineups we should have a solid base of 50-60 points to work from. This game is going to be a shootout and Henry will be getting all the workload he can handle inside the red zone.

With four touchdowns in the past two games, Henry is starting to carry some momentum while adding to the highlight reel each week. With the Titans projected to score 28 points we could easily have Henry at a two-touchdown floor with a slate breaking performance ahead of us. He will be a cash game lock for most and I will have heavy ownership of him in tournaments as well.

ALEXANDER MATTISON, MIN

$7,000 DRAFTKINGS, $7,200 FANDUEL

The seas have parted for Alexander Mattison in Week 6. Not only is Dalvin Cook out but he gets one of the best running back matchups on the board in the Atlanta Falcons. The Falcons ranks 28th against opposing running backs and are allowing 110 yards per game on the ground and a bunch through the air.

Vegas agrees with the pick, predicting the Vikings to be in the lead in this game and tallying up over 29 points in this contest. Mike Davis and the Carolina Panthers took advantage of the Falcons last week and Mattison should garner similar results in Week 6. I try to keep it as simple as possible and target bad defenses as much as possible and continue to pick on them week after week. You can almost guarantee a write up every week from me displaying at least one player who will have a juicy matchup against a Falcons team that has already given up on the season.

WIDE RECEIVERS

ADAM THIELEN, MIN

$7,300 DRAFTKINGS, $7,400 FANDUEL

The trend continues and don’t feel bad about attacking the Falcons.

Last week my core included three players from the Panthers and they were locked into my main lineups on DraftKings. All three paid off and it lead to another profitable week in DFS. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it! These Falcons will get gashed all day Sunday and if Teddy Bridgewater can throw for 300+ yards, I have no fear that Kirk Cousins can connect to Adam Thielen for big plays up and down the field. Coming off monster back-to-back games where he scored 29 DraftKings points Adam now heads home to hopefully lock in another massive stat line. Numbers don’t lie and the Falcons rank 28th against opposing wide receivers and are allowing a whopping 335 passing yards per game. Thielen is your safe wide receiver play for Week 6 and feel free to start the rookie Justin Jefferson as well if you want to pivot in your tournament lineups.

BRANDIN COOKS, HOU

$5,000 DRAFTKINGS, $5,700 FANDUEL

Brandin Cooks has been the Jekyll & Hyde receiver to start the 2020 season. When everyone wanted to take advantage of his extremely low price tag in Week 4, he put up a goose egg versus the Vikings. Then he bounced back when nobody played him in Week 5 and caught 8 passes for 161 yards and a touchdown.

I wrote about this game being a shootout several times earlier and if that script holds we need a receiver to pair with Watson. I would like to stack this game and the choices are Deshaun Watson with Brandin Cooks or Will Fuller (maybe even both) and then running it back with Derrick Henry and/or AJ Brown.

My suggestion is stacking a couple different version of this game and don’t be afraid to throw some Ryan Tannehill and Jonnu Smith into the mix as well.

TIGHT ENDS

MARK ANDREWS, BAL

$6,500 DRAFTKINGS, $7,600 FANDUEL

Mark Andrews is the number one receiver in the Ravens offense. He is a red zone threat and Lamar Jackson’s favorite target in this offense. The Eagles are the 30th worst team at defending the tight end and have consistently allowed tight ends to score points at will. George Kittle caught 15 passes for 183 yards and a touchdown versus Philadelphia in Week 4 and Tyler Higbee had a three-touchdown game versus the Eagles in Week 2. Can the pattern hold true in Week 6?

Either way, Andrews provides a safe floor, and if we can see half the game Kittle had I would be happy locking him in during Week 6.

EVAN ENGRAM, NYG

$4,900 DRAFTKINGS, $5,600 FANDUEL

I don’t like suggesting New York Giants players, but Engram has the talent and a somewhat secure floor. He provides some value if you need to pay down at the position. The Washington Football Team is league’s worst at defending the tight end while having one of the best front four in the league.

I’m expecting QB Daniel Jones to be under a lot of pressure to get rid of the ball quickly, which should mean more looks for Engram over the middle and less plays down field for the receiving core. If you don’t feel confident in Engram, feel free to pivot to touchdown machine Robert Tonyan, who is only $200 more expensive on DraftKings.

DEFENSES

NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS

$4,100 DRAFTKINGS, $4,800 FANDUEL

How good is Bill Belichick? He is the best in the business and almost beat Patrick Mahomes with a combination of Brian Hoyer and some leftover scraps on offense. There hasn’t been a better coach in my lifetime and he is a defensive wizard who finds ways to disrupt the entire game plan of the opposing offense.

Give Belichick a young quarterback on the opposite side of the field and watch him dismantle their scheme and cause turnovers galore. If you have the cash to spend up at defense, roster Belichick and the Patriots.

HOUSTON TEXANS

$4,500 DRAFTKINGS, $4,900 FANDUEL

The Ravens defense might provide the safest floor of any team defense on the slate. If you rostered them in Week 5, you had a massive edge over the field who went cheap. They held the Bengals to only 3 points, caused 3 turnovers, had 7 sacks and scored a touchdown. This Defense is legit and if you take out the game against the Chiefs they held every other team under 17 points to start this season. The Eagles have a bad offensive line and very little explosiveness on offense besides Miles Sanders, which they should be able to bottle up with their front four. If you have the cash, spend up for safety in Week 6.

QUARTERBACKS

DESHAUN WATSON, HOU

$6,900 DRAFTKINGS, $7,900 FANDUEL

We can no longer use the Bill O’Brien excuse in Houston. The man is finally gone and I personally can’t wait for Adam Gase to be dealt the same fate. We can only hope Watson can get back on track this week and come out of the gate with something to prove. Watson has been good but not great to start this year. His schedule had a very tough start with matchups against the Chiefs, Ravens and Steelers. The good news is Will Fuller is still healthy and the Jaguars rank 20th against opposing quarterbacks and allow 261 yards passing per game. Coming off a 300-yard, 2-touchdown game should provide some confidence in rostering Watson in Week 5.

Watson provides a safe floor at his price tag and is one of the best values on the entire slate. Vegas has the Texans putting up 30 points and without a elite running game most of those points should be rolling through Watson. We have him only a couple points behind Patrick Mahomes, Dak Prescott, Lamar Jackson and Josh Allen on our projection models currently but, given the discount, we love the value he provides.

MATT RYAN, ATL

$6,100 DRAFTKINGS, $7,700 FANDUEL

The Falcons are struggling mightily and confidence is at a all time low in Atlanta. Ryan is more of a DraftKings only play for me, where I want to price enforce the $6,100 cost for a quarterback with one of the best matchups on the board. If Vegas is right and the Falcons put up 28 points, we can hope that Matt Ryan puts up 3-4 touchdowns in this matchup.

We have to look out for the status of Julio Jones, if he is out I may lower my exposure to Ryan and bump up my exposure to Calvin Ridley and the rest of the receiving core. If Jones is out feel free to pivot down to Daniel Jones or up to Mahomes, Prescott or Jackson in Week 5.

RUNNING BACKS

MIKE DAVIS, CAR

$6,400 DRAFTKINGS, $6,800 FANDUEL

I never would have thought I would be highlighting the two running backs I am about to dive into but here we are in Week 5 of 2020.

I saw a great tweet this past week that read “We are heading into the 4th quarter of 2020, lets hope we are playing the Atlanta Falcons”

Davis and the Panthers are playing the Falcons and you best believe he is salivating due to the opportunity they present. With two touchdowns in his past two games since he took over for Christian McCaffrey, Mike Davis is now a stable force in the Carolina backfield. He has produced over 22 DraftKings points in his past 2 games and now gets the dream matchup versus the Falcons, who cant stop a nose bleed. He might be highly owned but take the 20+ points and lock in Davis in Week 5.

JERICK MCKINNON, SF

$5,800 DRAFTKINGS, $6,400 FANDUEL

McKinnon dominated the backfield touches in Week 4 and has produced in each and every week of this season. This trend should continue in Week 5 with a matchup versus Miami, who rank 19th against opposing running backs.

McKinnon scored a touchdown in each of the four games this season and has averaged 16.6 DraftKings points. It looks like its McKinnon’s backfield after he received 14 of the 17 rushing attempts and also had 9 targets in the passing game. If Mostert is still out in Week 5, look McKinnon’s way and lock in the value in order to pay up at other spots.

WIDE RECEIVERS

DARIUS SLAYTON, NYG

$4,800 DRAFTKINGS, $5,800 FANDUEL

I told myself that I am done rostering any players from the Jets or the Giants for the rest of the season and then I witnessed again how bad the Cowboys defense truly is.

If the Browns can score 49, the Giants should score at least 24 right?

This is truly a play on the Cowboys defense and not the Giants offense. Lets look at what the Cowboys have allowed as far as scoring this year. Here are the game totals: 20, 39, 38 and 49. The targets for Slayton have been there each and every week, but the production has yet to follow. At $4,900 versus this Cowboy defense I am willing to take the calculated risk on Slayton or Evan Engram, who I will mention later in this article.

ROBBIE ANDERSON, CAR

$5,900 DRAFTKINGS, $6,200 FANDUEL

Leading into this season and every week so far to start the season all the hype has been on DJ Moore. The outcome has not lived up to the hype and each and every week the production has been gobbled up by Robbie Anderson.

Averaging 19.7 points on the season, its been obvious to me that Robbie is the No. 1 receiver in this offense and has out-targeted Moore 34-32 with a way higher catch rate. With two 100 yard games (and a 99 yarder), there is a clear rapport with Teddy Bridgewater. He has been a fantasy darling all year and I expect that trend to continue with his plus-matchup against the Falcons in Week 5.

TIGHT ENDS

GEORGE KITTLE, SF

$6,600 DRAFTKINGS, $7,100 FANDUEL

The George Kittle breakout game finally came in Week 4. Kittle is absolute beast and I wouldn’t want to step in his path once he got the ball in his hands, because his goal is to hurt someone.

Coming off a 15-reception, 183-yard game, ownership maybe high, but with all the value on the slate I think this is the week to pay up at tight end and lock in some points. I am fine with either paying up for Kittle or Mark Andrews and avoiding any potential land mines at the value tight end spots.

EVAN ENGRAM, NYG

$4,400 DRAFTKINGS, $5,500 FANDUEL

I don’t like suggesting New York Giants players, but when I do they will be playing against the Dallas Cowboys. Do I have to remind you how bad this defense is? Baker Mayfield and Jarvis Landry were dropping dimes all over this defense last week as crazy as that sounds.

The Cowboys defense is terrible and their offense is good/potentially great. Which means the Cowboys should open the game up with the lead, allowing the Giants to play catch up the entire game. Engram’s production has seen an uptick lately and he is the best value at the position so lock him in and lets be present for his breakout performance.

DEFENSES

NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS

$4,200 DRAFTKINGS, $4,800 FANDUEL

How good is Bill Belichick? He is the best in the business and almost beat Patrick Mahomes with a combination of Brian Hoyer and some leftover scraps on offense. There hasn’t been a better coach in my lifetime and he is a defensive wizard who finds ways to disrupt the entire game plan of the opposing offense.

Give Belichick a young quarterback on the opposite side of the field and watch him dismantle their scheme and cause turnovers galore. If you have the cash to spend up at defense, roster Belichick and the Patriots.

HOUSTON TEXANS

$2,600 DRAFTKINGS, $3,700 FANDUEL

We can only hope that the Texans come together and play some inspired ball and cause some havoc for Gardner Minshew and the Jaguars. They are the cheapest defense I am willing to roster. Minshew will make mistakes and cough up the ball Sunday. With 10 sacks on the season, we can hope for 2-4 sacks, 1-2 turnovers and for the Texans to finally win a game and control some clock late. Their defense has been bad to start the year, but their schedule hasn’t been easy. Look for a bounce back performance out of the Texans at home in Week 5.

DFS Fantasy Football: Favorite Pro Plays – Week 4

WinDailySports’ CEO Jason Mezrahi checks in with his top Week 4 DFS fantasy football for FanDuel and DraftKings

Top-ranked daily fantasy sports pro Jason Mezrahi, founder and CEO of WinDailySports.com, breaks down his favorite DFS plays at various salary ranges for Week 4 of the NFL season.

Even though we have had great results in picking top DFS plays in this article every week, I’m going to let you in on a little secret: Our projection model at WinDailySports.com has been firing on all cylinders for the first three weeks so what I will do in this article is list some of our highest projected players based off raw points and our highest point per dollar plays based on DraftKings.com pricing.

These are some of the players Jason will be locking in his lineups on DraftKings and FanDuel for this weekend’s slate.

QUARTERBACKS

RUSSELL WILSON, SEA

$7,800 DRAFTKINGS, $9,000 FANDUEL

Call it what you want, but I can’t fade Russell Wilson at this point in the season. He won me another $5,000 in Week 3 and I’m going back to the well in Week 4. Check the game logs and that’s all you need to know as to why I will be hitting the lock button on Wilson in Week 4. He has thrown for 5 touchdowns in each of his past 2 games (could’ve been 6 if Metcalf walked into the endzone with the ball still in his hands) and has averaged 36.3 DraftKings points on the season.

On paper, this might be his best matchup of the year versus the Miami Dolphin defense. They are towards the bottom of the league in passing and total yards allowed per game. Wilson has the safest floor of the entire slate and the highest ceiling. Lock him in your cash lineups and go over the field in tournaments.

RYAN FITZPATRICK, MIA

$5,400 DRAFTKINGS, $7,100 FANDUEL

It was a close call here to either target Ryan Fitzpatrick or Cam Newton as my value starter in Week 4, but I give a slight lean to Fitzpatrick due to the discount and better overall matchup. Even though I like Cam’s running upside and will be using him in tournaments, I like the matchup better for Ryan.

The Seahawks have been in shootouts every week regardless of matchups and I believe that will continue in Week 4. Fitzpatrick has looked great outside of his Week 1 matchup versus a stingy Patriots defense. He bounced back with 27- and 25-point performance in the last 2 weeks and I believe the floor in this matchup is 20 with a ceiling of 30. If you need some salary relief, buy some shares of Fitzmagic in Week 4.

RUNNING BACKS

ALVIN KAMARA, NO

$8,000 DRAFTKINGS, $8,800 FANDUEL

Alvin Kamara is back to his old self after having a down year by his standards last year. He has dropped 23, 38, and 47 DraftKings points to start the season and now draws a matchup versus the 3rd worst run defense in the league.

The Detroit Lions have allowed 172 rushing yards per game and Kamara will gash them all day Sunday. He has been productive on the ground and through the air. I’m hitting the lock button on DraftKings in cash games and will have a nice share of ownership on him for tournaments. This will be the last week you can get Kamara at $8,000 so enjoy the discount!

KENYAN DRAKE, ARI

$6,000 DRAFTKINGS, $7,000 FANDUEL

I believe the field was one week too early on Drake. He was highly owned in what looked to be a good matchup in Week 3 and disappointed a ton of people at over 30% ownership in tournaments and even higher % in cash games. Typically after weeks like that, you will see ownership drop off dramatically and that’s the best time to hop on board.

We saw it last week with guys like Derrick Henry and it will be a repeat performance this week for Drake.

His price went down on both sites, his ownership will drop by half on both sites. Meanwhile, he is still good at football and the matchup got better than last week. Carolina is the 2nd worst at defending running backs and I can easily argue that they are the worst overall. If game script goes as planned and Kyler Murray doesn’t vulture touchdowns away I see a huge game coming here for Drake.

WIDE RECEIVERS

TYLER LOCKETT, SEA

$7,000 DRAFTKINGS, $7,500 FANDUEL

The saying goes “if it ain’t broke don’t fix it”. I had almost 100% shares of Lockett in Week 3 and I owe him a night out for drinks after his monster three-touchdown performance.

The combination of Wilson to Lockett brought me to the promise land and I’m riding that same boat into Week 4.

As I stated above, the matchup is ideal versus Miami and the underlying numbers look great. Locket has hauled in 8, 7 and 9 receptions to start the season and I can see a double digit reception game out of him this Sunday. If you look at contests across the industry this weekend, you will see a bunch of Win Daily logos with Wilson/Lockett stacks in both cash games and tournaments.

JULIAN EDELMAN, NE

$5,700 DRAFTKINGS, $6,400 FANDUEL

Julian Edelman wasn’t needed much in Week 3 versus the Las Vegas Raiders, but the Patriots will need a massive game to out of him to stay within distance of the Kansas City Chiefs.

You want exposure to this game from the Patriot side because they should be playing catchup and Edelman will be the biggest beneficiary on this offense.

He is underpriced on both sites due to a down week and he provides great value because of it. The floor is safe here with Edelman and lets not forget about his 8-reception, 179-yard game in Week 2 versus Seattle. I can’t predict the same output, but I will have some shares of Edelman across both sites in Week 4.

TIGHT ENDS

MIKE GESICKI, MIA

$5,100 DRAFTKINGS, $5,700 FANDUEL

I typically look for discounts and red zone targets from my tight ends and I believe you get a little bit of both with Gesicki.

The Dolphins should be playing catchup throughout this game and I like a full game stack in tournaments where I run Wilson and Lockett with Gesicki.

The Seahawks have defended the tight end better this year than in years past, but still have allowed an average of 430 yards passing over the first 3 weeks. Not many tight ends provide the upside that Gesicki does, so get some shares of him in Week 4.

EVAN ENGRAM, NYG

$4,400 DRAFTKINGS, $5,600 FANDUEL

Evan Engram hasn’t had his breakout game yet in 2020 and it’s been a long time since he has shown his true talent. Injuries and inconsistencies have been his issue, so there is risk here with this play but we need upside and value at tight end and Engram has the talent to break a slate.

The Rams defense are 23rd in the league against tight ends and have allowed 253 passing yards per game, which will present opportunities for Engram. The Giants are building for the future and if Engram wants to be in that future he better start producing.

The motivation and matchup are there so don’t be surprised when he puts up 15+ points in Week 4.

DEFENSES

BALTIMORE RAVENS

$4,000 DRAFTKINGS, $5,000 FANDUEL

Lets keep this simple. The Ravens are coming off a bad loss to the Super Bowl Champion Chiefs and will be hungry to get back into the win column. Pair that with a matchup with Haskins and the Washington Football Team and they come in as one of the easier decisions to lock in on defense in Week 4. Whenever you have the salary lock in the Ravens do so in both cash and tournament lineups.

LOS ANGELES RAMS

$3,900 DRAFTKINGS, $4,800 FANDUEL

I like the Ravens slightly ahead of the Rams, but they are a close second. The Giants can’t protect Daniel Jones and Jones can’t protect the football. It’s been a turnover festival in NY and I don’t see this team getting better anytime soon.

The Rams have 7 sacks on the season and have caused 5 turnovers as well. I wouldn’t be surprised to see 5 sacks and 2 turnovers in Week 4 versus an offense Vegas has projected to score only 17 points. The Giants total is the second lowest on the board, with the Washington Football Team projected to score 16.

DFS Fantasy Football: Favorite Pro Plays – Week 3

WinDailySports’ CEO Jason Mezrahi checks in with his top Week 3 DFS fantasy football for FanDuel and DraftKings

Top-ranked daily fantasy sports pro Jason Mezrahi, founder and CEO of WinDailySports.com, breaks down his favorite DFS plays at various salary ranges for Week 3 of the NFL season.

Even though we have had great results in picking top DFS plays in this article every week, I’m going to let you in on a little secret: Our projection model at WinDailySports.com has been firing on all cylinders for the first two weeks so what I will do in this article is list our highest projected player based off raw points and our highest point per dollar play based on DraftKings.com pricing.

These are some of the players Jason will be locking in his lineups on DraftKings and FanDuel for this weekend’s slate.

QUARTERBACKS

KYLER MURRAY, ARI

$6,800 DRAFTKINGS, $8,400 FANDUEL

In the case of QB Kyler Murray, who has the top spot on the board, is looking like the 2020 version of 2019 Lamar Jackson.

Over the first two games, he has averaged 30.2 DraftKings points and already has three rushing touchdowns. The rushing floor and upside he provides in a plus matchup versus a weak Lions defense has him ahead of a stacked QB position so lock him in as both your cash QB and GPP play of the week.

MITCHELL TRUBISKY, CHI

$5,700 DRAFTKINGS, $7,500 FANDUEL

Mitchell “The Truth” Trubisky (I can’t even type this with a straight face) is coming in on our model as the best point-per-dollar quarterback in the Week 3 DraftKings main slate.

  1. Is he a top 10 Quarterback? No
  2. Is he an elite Quarterback? No
  3. Did I think he was going to be the starting Quarterback to start the season? No
  4. Does he have one of the best matchups on the board? Yes
  5. Am I playing him at $5,700 in Week 3? Yes

The Atlanta Falcons defense is one of the worst I have ever seen. The only thing that can make this defense worse is if Jameis Winston was the quarterback of the offense.

The story line won’t change and every week for the near future you will see me targeting offensive players versus the Atlanta Falcons and the Carolina Panthers no matter who the opposing team is. For that reason I feel confident in locking in Trubisky on DraftKings.

RUNNING BACKS

DERRICK HENRY, TEN

$7,800 DRAFTKINGS, $8,200 FANDUEL

After a somewhat disappointing Week 2, both DraftKings and FanDuel lowered Henry’s prices by $100. I truly appreciate the discount and due to the fact he burned a lot of people last week, he will come in at lower ownership. There is nothing better than playing an elite player once everyone else jumped off the bandwagon after one bad week.

Derrick Henry is still one of the best running backs in the league and this matchup versus the Vikings is ideal. The touches and talent are there and in Week 3 the yardage and touchdowns will follow.

MILES SANDERS, PHI

$6,400 DRAFTKINGS, $7,400 FANDUEL

It is time to price enforce an error in the pricing model of both sites. This matchup is too juicy, and Miles Sanders is too talented not to exploit it. We recently saw what the combination of Chubb and Hunt destroy Cincinnati and I expect a repeat showing by Miles in Week 3.

Sanders had a good start to his season in Week 2 in a tougher matchup versus the Rams. He is coming in as the best value on the board at running back in Week 3, so lock him into both cash games and tournaments.

WIDE RECEIVERS

DEANDRE HOPKINS, ARI

$7,900 DRAFTKINGS, $8,500 FANDUEL

I will admit when I’m wrong. I was off of DeAndre Hopkins in season long due to the fact that the receiving core is a crowded space in Arizona and I thought there would be a negative effect due to a shortened off season. I was wrong, Kyler Murray has progressed to another level and the rapport he built already with Hopkins is elite.

I love the stack of Murray to Hopkins in a dream matchup versus the Lions. Hopkins may be highly owned in Week 3 but he is coming in with the highest ceiling and raw projection. He should be as safe as it gets for your cash games at wide receiver.

ALLEN ROBINSON, CHI

$6,200 DRAFTKINGS, $6,900 FANDUEL

After back to back disappointing weeks, I hope the ownership stays low on Robinson in Week 3. He is currently popping as our best point per dollar play and a nice value stack paired with Trubisky.

I will repeat it once more the Atlanta Falcons are terrible on defense.

They couldn’t punch their way out of a wet paper bag and they won’t be able to stop the second-tier combination of Trubisky and Robinson at a discounted rate. Ride the value that Robinson provides and take advantage of lower ownership due to all the boxscore watchers avoiding him.

TIGHT ENDS

ZACH ERTZ, LAC

$5,100 DRAFTKINGS, $6,200 FANDUEL

The Eagles are once again down to scraps at the receiver position and all hope will be on their tight ends. I had a tough decision on which tight end to choose from because both Ertz and Goedert have been producing, and are in identical spots.

I will be leaning on the pedigree of Ertz, but will have shares of both tight ends and I believe you should do the same. I would not be surprised to see both tight ends find their way into the end zone and for tournaments running a stack with both is not out of the question.

DARREN WALLER, OAK

$5,700 DRAFTKINGS, $6,600 FANDUEL

A lot of the fantasy industry didn’t buy into the hype of Darren Waller coming into this season. I think that all changed after his recent performance Monday night.

Waller is one of the fastest tight ends in the league and he is the number one target in this offense. He received 8 targets in Week 1 and 16 in Week 2. If we fall in the middle in Week 3, you best believe Waller will smash again. Derek Carr and this offense looked impressive and on the other end this is not the same Patriots defense from last year. Waller is the way to go if you have the salary to pay up at tight end this week.

DEFENSES

LOS ANGELES CHARGERS

$3,600 DRAFTKINGS, $5,000 FANDUEL

They come in as the top defense due to the simple fact that the Panthers have struggled to get anything going on offense and now they are without their best weapon in Christian McCaffrey. This Charger defense did a great job against the most explosive offense in the league so I can only imagine what they do to this Carolina team. I wouldn’t be shocked to see them keep the Panthers under 10 points in this game.

LAS VEGAS RAIDERS

$2,300 DRAFTKINGS, $3,000 FANDUEL

With defense being one of the toughest positions to predict, I love finding an extreme value defense each week for tournaments. This Raiders team is legit and just stifled Drew Brees and the Saints; I am not fully bought into the Patriots offense. They are lacking a true running game and Cam Newton can only do so much. If you stop Cam this entire offense stalls. Give me Gruden and the Raiders at an extreme value in Week 3.

DFS Fantasy Football: Favorite Pro Plays – Week 2

WinDailySports’ CEO Jason Mezrahi checks in with his top Week 2 DFS fantasy football for FanDuel and DraftKings

Top-ranked daily fantasy sports pro Jason Mezrahi, founder and CEO of WinDailySports.com, breaks down his favorite DFS plays at various salary ranges for Week 2 of the NFL season.

These are some of the players Jason will be locking in his lineups on DraftKings and FanDuel for this weekend’s slate.

QUARTERBACKS

DAK PRESCOTT, DAL
$6,800 DRAFTKINGS, $8,300 FANDUEL

Coming off a tough loss and heading back to Dallas to face off against a bad Atlanta defense is what Dak needs to right the ship. The matchup wasn’t ideal in Week 1, but his weapons are at full strength. The addition of CeeDee Lamb gives him three above-average receivers and the threat of Ezekiel Elliot should torment this Atlanta defense. Russell Wilson picked apart the Falcons secondary and I see the same thing happening when Dak gets under center. Add some rushing upside and Dak will present a nice floor for cash games and high upside for your tournaments.

TOM BRADY, TBB
$6,500 DRAFTKINGS, $7,600 FANDUEL

It didn’t work out so well last week against a tough defense in New Orleans, but I am ready to double down on Tom Brady. In a bad game by his standards, Brady still threw for 2 touchdowns and ran one in. Tom Brady the dual-threat quarterback! While I am not in the business of predicting Brady’s next rushing touchdown, I can tell you that the matchup versus Carolina is great. Their defense is one of the worst in the league and the discount you get with Brady on FanDuel is too much to pass on. This a spot to price enforce and secure a nice floor at the quarterback position.

RUNNING BACKS

EZEKIEL ELLIOTT, DAL
$8,200 DRAFTKINGS, $8,600 FANDUEL

I could settle this in one sentence: He is a bell cow running back going against one of the worst defenses in the league. But lets look a little deeper. Ezekiel Elliott is a stud worth paying up for in both cash games and tournaments. Just like Chris Carson in Week 1, this matchup versus the Falcons has shootout written all over it. I have Elliott as the top running back on the slate with a equal rating to Christian McCaffrey. This could easily be a 2-3 touchdown game for Elliott, and I am playing it safe and paying up for this stud in Week 2.

DERRICK HENRY, TEN
$7,900 DRAFTKINGS, $8,300 FANDUEL

The story is the same with Derrick Henry, he is workhouse going against a weak defense. The Indianapolis combination of Mack, Hines and Taylor gashed the Jaguars all day and my assumption is that all those fantasy points that were split between the Colts backs will all gravitate toward Henry in Week 2. Henry was handed the ball 31 times in a tough matchup versus Denver and with that same workload versus the Jaguars defensive line we can see 150+ rushing yards and two-plus touchdowns in Week 2. A lot of the field will look to value running backs like they did in Week 1 and I will be trying to avoid that by locking in Henry and Elliott this week.

WIDE RECEIVERS

DAVANTE ADAMS, GBP
$8,100 DRAFTKINGS, $8,600 FANDUEL

If we look back at least week’s article this is how I started to breakdown the wide receiver position:

“Lets keep this one simple. Who is else will Aaron Rodgers throw the ball to?”

I hope everyone listened because I went overweight on Adams and it led me to a $25,000 payday on DraftKings. If I got .5 more points (yes, just 5 yards) it would of been worth $50,000. Adams is, and will be, the main guy in Green Bay for the rest of this year and, unlike other wide receivers, he shouldn’t be competing for target shares. Both sites raised his price slightly but at what price can we fade Adams? Similar to Michael Thomas last year, I will be hitting the lock button on Adams moving forward.

MARVIN JONES JR., DET
$5,700 DRAFTKINGS, $6,400 FANDUEL

With Kenny Golladay still questionable and hobbled, I will look to Marvin Jones Jr. against the Green Bay Packers. Coming off a terrible loss to the Bears, the Lions will have to put up points to keep pace with the Packers. I see this game going over the 49 point total Vegas has predicted with the Lions trailing for most of the game. If I am right that means a lot of garbage time and soft coverage for Jones Jr. to rack up points. The discount provided should allow Jones Jr. to exceed value.

TIGHT ENDS

JACK DOYLE, IND
$3,600 DRAFTKINGS, $5,300 FANDUEL

I always try my best to find the safe value plays at the tight end position in order to pay up elsewhere, and Jack Doyle fits that mold. He is more of a DraftKings only play for me but I don’t mind the play on FanDuel as well. On FanDuel I would probably lean on the upside of Tyler Higbee, Eric Ebron or T.J. Hockenson. Philip Rivers loves to target the tight end and I think in each week moving forward you will see him rely more and more on Doyle. Coming off a 3 reception week for 49 yards, I expect a repeat performance and 7-8 DraftKings points to be his average production. If he sneaks in a touchdown this week we can smash value at his $3,600 price tag.

T.J. HOCKENSON, DET
$5,200 DRAFTKINGS, $5,600 FANDUEL

Opposite to Jack Doyle, Hockenson provides greater value on FanDuel than he does on DraftKings. He hauled in five of five targets and scored a touchdown in Week 1; he is rolling into Week 2 with a better matchup in what could be a higher scoring game. As stated above, Golladay may sit another game out and the Lions could be playing from behind most of the game, which should mean more receptions for Hockenson. Hockenson has thrived whenever Stafford has been on the field so feel confident rolling him versus the Packers in Week 2.

DEFENSES

ARIZONA CARDINALS
$3,000 DRAFTKINGS, $3,600 FANDUEL

We will see a pattern in my articles of targeting the weaker offenses and streaming defenses against teams like the Washington Football Team, the New York Jets, and any team that Vegas projects to be the lowest scoring teams on the slate. The Cardinals are coming off an impressive win in Week 1 versus the 49ers, where they held them to only 20 points. Now they get a home matchup versus a young quarterback surrounded with minimal weapons. Arizona provides a safe floor with upside against a weak offense at a very fair price on both sites.

SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS                                      $4,000 DRAFTKINGS, $5,00 FANDUEL

If you have the salary, pay up for the 49ers. The Jets are a very, very, very bad offense. We saw the Bills dismantle the Jets and the same thing will occur when the Niners enter town. The 49ers should have a chip on their shoulder after coming off a tough loss to Cardinals and the Jets will see a very motivated team. I expect the 49ers to come out of the gate strong and bring the pressure to Sam Darnold and the Jets.

DFS Fantasy Football: Favorite Pro Plays – Week 1

WinDailySports’ CEO Jason Mezrahi checks in with his top Week 1 DFS fantasy football for FanDuel and DraftKings

Top-ranked daily fantasy sports pro Jason Mezrahi, founder and CEO of WinDailySports.com, breaks down his favorite DFS plays at various salary ranges for Week 1 of the NFL season.

These are some of the players Jason will be locking in his lineups on DraftKings and FanDuel for this weekend’s slate.

QUARTERBACKS

MATT RYAN, ATL
$6,700 DRAFTKINGS, $7,800 FANDUEL

This may be the best offensive weaponry that Matty Ice has ever had. If you have followed my show on SiriusXM Fantasy, I was pushing all of our listeners at Win Daily to get shares of this offense and specifically Matt Ryan. He now has an upgrade at running back with the addition of Todd Gurley, which should open things up even more.

I believe TE Hayden Hurst is and upgrade over Austin Hooper (now with the Cleveland Browns) at the tight end position. Add a more mature Calvin Ridley — paired with Julio Jones — giving Ryan the upside at lower ownership than the other quarterbacks in his pricing tier.

The upgrades on offense, combined with a soft matchup against the average at best Seahawks defense, inside a dome is a nice spot to be in Week 1.

TOM BRADY, TBB
$6,500 DRAFTKINGS, $7,500 FANDUEL

I don’t believe I wrote up Brady one time all of last year in my articles and maybe played him once or twice in DFS. The old man, aka the GOAT, has moved to Tampa Bay and now has the best offense on paper that he has ever had. Weapons galore across the field!

The only difficult part for me is to figure out who to pair him with. At this current point, I feel comfortable playing him “naked,” which means not stacking him with a receiver or tight end. Ownership will be down on Brady and most players will opt for Drew Brees or other quarterbacks in this price range. This is a statement game for Brady and I believe he has a chip on his shoulder to show the world he can win without Bill Belichick. Give me Brady in Week 1 and lets hope he still has more left in the tank.

RUNNING BACKS

AUSTIN EKELER, LAC
$7,000 DRAFTKINGS, $7,700 FANDUEL

If there was a mini version of Christian McCaffrey, it is Ekeler. By all means play McCaffrey in any lineup you can afford him and lock him into your cash games. McCaffrey is very good at football.

In most cases I will have both McCaffrey and Ekeler paired as my two running backs, but let me tell you why I like Ekeler: Some people may view Tyrod Taylor as a downgrade to Philip Rivers, which has a negative impact on Ekeler… but I think he will be just fine. With Taylor not being a downfield passer as much as Rivers was, I see even more targets for Ekeler. Once he gets the ball in space, he can turn any catch into a touchdown. He is a three-down back who catches a ton of passes and game script says the Chargers should be leading in this game, which should mean even extra work for Ekeler.

ANTONIO GIBSON, WAS
$4,000 DRAFTKINGS, $4,600 FANDUEL

Antonio Gibson is one of your best Week 1 values. I truly hope is ownership is not through the roof; but, either way, the savings is too much to pass up.

As I am writing this, we don’t know his workload or complete role but we do know the Washington Football Team let go of Adrian Peterson and Gibson was a major reason why. Gibson was a highlight reel in college and was used in various roles as a pass catching back and receiver. This is a great matchup versus the Eagles; we could see a shootout, or a solid amount of garbage time dump offs to Gibson.

WIDE RECEIVERS

DAVANTE ADAMS, GBP
$7,300 DRAFTKINGS, $8,400 FANDUEL

Lets keep this one simple. Who is else will Aaron Rodgers throw the ball to?

Adams is, and will be, the main guy in Green Bay for the rest of this year and, unlike other wide receivers, he shouldn’t be competing for target shares. Adams is a stud and is priced lower than the top tier.

I love the discount we get on DraftKings! On FanDuel I can make the case for both Julio Jones and Michael Thomas, which are both in play. Similar to the next guy I’m going to mention below, this will be the cheapest price you see on Adams all season on DraftKings. Enjoy the short-lived savings.

KENNY GOLLADAY, DET
$6,200 DRAFTKINGS, $7,900 FANDUEL

This is a pricing mistake and you have to enforce it. Golladay is a true number 1 receiver. Whoever decided to price him on DraftKings should check his resume.

Golladay is a beast and he put up numbers with one of the worst combination of quarterbacks last year after QB Matthew Stafford went down. Golladay now has his leader back and is setup for nice game at home in the dome. Lets lock in Golladay for 100+ yards receiving and a TD.

TIGHT ENDS

ZACH ERTZ, PHI
$5,800 DRAFTKINGS, $6,600 FANDUEL

With all of the injuries the Eagles have on offense, Ertz is the safe way to attack this Washington defense.

Ertz will be getting the majority of targets in the passing game and is the first option whenever they get in the red zone. He has the upside to double the points of most of the tight ends on the slate. He comes in as my safest tight end play in Week 1, due to the combination of a fair price and the target share he is in line to receive.

HUNTER HENRY, LAC
$5,300 DRAFTKINGS, $6,000 FANDUEL

Henry is another safe play at tight end at a nice price.

This matchup looks good and, with the uncertainty of Mike Williams, should see a rise in targets for Henry in Week 1. The best time to play Henry is when he’s healthy, so lock him in after a long offseason to rest up. With Tyrod Taylor now at quarterback the combination of Ekeler and Henry should be his outlets.

DFS EXTRA PRO TIP: In lineups I lock Ekeler in, I will be pivoting off Henry and vice versa.

DEFENSES

NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS
$3,200 DRAFTKINGS, $4,600 FANDUEL

As you will see week to week, defenses are tough to project out because a pick-six is impossible to get right every week. What we will be doing is picking on weak offenses, turnover prone quarterbacks, and teams who let up a bunch of sacks.

With the Patriots facing Miami in Week 1, it looks like we have some opportunities to lock in a nice floor with some upside because we know Dolphins QB Ryan Fitzpatrick loves to force balls into tight coverage. If we get a repeat performance of last year’s version of the Patriots defense, we should be looking pretty in Week 1.

INDIANAPOLIS COLTS
$3,000 DRAFTKINGS, $3,700 FANDUEL

I don’t believe in Jacksonville Jaguars QB Gardner Minshew, I don’t believe in the Jaguars offense, and the organization as a whole. Besides WR DJ Chark, the talent on offense is missing and the Colts should have a field day and comfortable lead to apply pressure to Minshew.

With no real running back threat, all the pressure will be on Minshew and I believe that leads to turnovers and fantasy points for the Colts defense in Week 1.
