Oregon WR commit Dallas Wilson quickly rising among top-ranked players in 2025 class

Oregon WR commit has quickly risen to near the top of the 2025 recruiting rankings since committing to the Ducks.

On January 17, 2023, a player by the name of Dallas Wilson announced that he was committing to the Oregon Ducks.

I had never heard of him, and I’m sure that a lot of Oregon fans were with me in asking “Who?” when the news came out.

Upon further research, it turned out that Wilson was a wide receiver from Florida in the class of 2025 who had received an offer from Oregon just hours before offering his verbal commitment. He was unrated by all of the major recruiting websites, so it was hard to get a feeling for how excited fans were to get about his commitment. He looked good, but nobody knew too much about him just yet.

They’re quickly learning.

While Wilson, a 6-foot-3, 180-pound player out of Tampa Bay has continued to grow and put highlights on tape, the recruiting world is taking notice. While ESPN and Rivals have yet to grade him out, both 247Sports and On3 have done their scouting, and the results are incredibly impressive.

While still considered a high-end 4-star, Wilson is rated as the No. 21 overall player in the 2025 class by 247Sports, and the No. 4 WR in the class. On3 is not as generous with their ranking, though he still lands as the No. 105 player and No. 17 WR.

Not too bad for a recruit that few Oregon fans knew of when he committed, huh?

2025 Oregon WR Dallas Wilson to take first visit to Eugene this weekend

Oregon’s 2025 WR Dallas Wilson will be taking his first visit to Eugene this coming weekend.

The Oregon Ducks are expecting a number of 2023, 2024, and 2025 prospects in town for recruiting visits this coming weekend, and it will give one future Duck his first look at the facilities in Eugene.

2025 wide receiver Dallas Wilson committed to Oregon last week just hours after receiving an offer from the Ducks. He will now make his way to Eugene this weekend for his first visit with Oregon, giving the young WR a chance to meet Dan Lanning and the coaching staff.

“I’m looking forward to the family I’m going to be a part of and the excitement that comes with it,” Wilson told me.

Wilson is not yet rated by any recruiting sites, but he’s a fast-rising prospect with scholarship offers from the likes of Alabama, Miami, Penn State, Florida State, and West Virginia, among several others.

Dallas Wilson, an unrated 2025 WR with offers from Alabama and Georgia, announced his commitment to the Ducks.

The Oregon Ducks got a commitment on Tuesday afternoon, landing 2025 wide receiver Dallas Wilson, an unrated player from Tampa Bay Tech High School.

Wilson is the first member of the 2025 class for the Ducks.

While he does not yet have a rating from 247Sports or On3, Wilson reportedly has offers from some notable schools, such as the Alabama Crimson Tide and Georgia Bulldogs. According to his Twitter, he received an offer from Oregon earlier in the day on Tuesday and announced his commitment a few hours later.

In today’s world of recruiting, it will be interesting to see if he sticks with the Ducks for the next two years before he ends up signing, but as of now, Oregon has their first WR in the 2025 class.

UGA football offers talented WR Dallas Wilson

The Georgia Bulldogs and Alabama Crimson Tide have offered 2025 wide receiver Dallas Wilson

The Georgia Bulldogs have offered a scholarship to talented class of 2025 wide receiver recruit Dallas Wilson. Wilson is only a sophomore in high school.

Kirby Smart and Georgia join other schools, including Alabama, Indiana, Florida State and Tennessee, in offering the young wide receiver prospect. The 6-foot-3, 180-pound receiver has over a dozen scholarship offers.

He is too young to be ranked as a recruit, but Wilson could end up as one of the top receivers in the class of 2025. Wilson plays high school football for Tampa Bay Tech in Tampa Bay, Florida.

According to Wilson, he finished his sophomore season with 40 receptions for 875 receiving yards and 12 touchdowns. The talented athlete also plays safety.

Wilson is excellent after the catch and is capable of winning jump balls. It will be fun to watch him develop over the years.

Alabama offers 2025 WR Dallas Wilson from Florida

Alabama’s coaching staff recently extended an offerr to 2025 wide receiver Dallas Wilson.

It isn’t often that Alabama’s coaching staff decides to pursue underclassmen early on in the recruiting process. However, the Tide recently extended an offer to 2025 wide receiver Dallas Wilson.

Wilson plays for Tampa Bay Tech School in Tampa, Florida. Despite having two years of high school remaining, Wilson has already brought in 10 offers. That is relatively high considering the Florida native is not yet ranked on any recruiting sites.

The Tide typically do well when they recruit wide receivers from the south Florida area. Alabama cornerbacks coach Travaris Robinson has also proven to be an elite recruiter in that area. I would expect the Tide to continue to pursue Wilson as his high school career continues.
