Dabo Swinney and the Clemson coaching staff did a phenomenal job with their 2023 recruiting class and look to strike the same magic they did in 2023 with their 2024 class. 

The 2024 class looks great on paper, and it looks like the class wrapped things up yesterday. The Tigers added two preferred walk-ons in wide receivers Parker Fulghum and Clark Sanderson, adding depth at wide receiver behind the two studs they have already in this class. 

With these additions, we have a clean, full look at what Clemson’s 2024 recruiting class looks like as the program prepares for the 2024 season. Below is a look at each recruit in the Tigers’ 2024 class and where they are ranked in the 247Sports Composite Rankings.

For some teams, recruiting means a lot. For a team like Clemson, it means that much more.

Modern college football is very different from what some of us remember growing up. Year after year, the game changes and differs from what we once knew. Right now, the transfer portal is going wild as teams use the portal to build their teams. Each team is different with the transfer portal, but if you look at a team like Florida State from 2023, a majority of a team’s starting lineup can come directly through the portal.

That is not the case for Clemson, who simply doesn’t use the transfer portal often (or even at all, depending on the season). Therefore, recruiting means everything for Dabo Swinney and the Clemson football program. Luckily for Clemson fans, Swinney and his staff are great at recruiting.

Rivals recently released their final Rivals250 rankings for the 2024 class, with 12 Tigers making the rankings. Here is a look at each of those Tigers and where they rank.

A look at Clemson freshmen midyear enrollees’ new jersey numbers

All Clemson freshmen mid-year enrollees have their numbers.

Dabo Swinney and the Clemson coaching staff have recently rounded out their 2024 recruiting class, with many of that class already on campus and working with the team.

The addition of the new Tigers means new numbers. Each early enrollee has received a number and is now updated on the Tigers roster. According to 247Sports 2024 team recruiting rankings, the Tigers have the No.12 overall class, with their personal rankings having them ranked No.16 overall.

This class looks to be another strong one for the Tigers, with multiple top players across the country joining the program. Below is a look at all early enrollee’s new numbers in number order.

Dabo Swinney and the Clemson football program have been among the top teams recruiting in the 2024 class as the Tigers look to remain one of the elite programs in college football.

Headlined by two five-star recruits in linebacker Sammy Brown and wide receiver Bryant Wesco, the Tigers have future stars ready to make an impact for the Tigers in this class. The most recent commitment in the class came from four-star cornerback Corian Gipson, who committed to the Tigers Saturday, choosing Clemson over top competitor Texas.

Now ranked the No.6 class in On3’s 2024 industry team recruiting class rankings, the Tigers have talent committed across multiple positions of need in this class. Here is a look at all 17 recruits committed to Clemson right now grouped by their position.

Clemson climbed the 2024 team recruiting rankings with the commitment of Corian Gipson.

Dabo Swinney and the Clemson coaching staff have been working hard to build one of the top recruiting classes in the country and have done a great job so far in the cycle.

Saturday, the Tigers landed a top 100 recruit in 4-star cornerback Corian Gipson. According to On3’s recruiting rankings, Gipson is the No.8 cornerback and the No.71 overall player in the 2024 class. A big pickup for Clemson, this commitment vaulted the Tigers up On3’s team recruiting rankings. 

Now with 17 commitments in the 2024 class, Clemson jumped up four spots to the No.6 class in the country according to On3’s industry team rankings. A nice jump for the Tigers; they remain the top team in the ACC and currently only trail Georgia, Ohio State, Florida, Alabama, and Michigan. 

Excellent work is being done by the Tigers coaching staff in the 2024 class.

Twitter reacts: Clemson lands 4-star CB, top-75 recruit from Lone Star State

Clemson continues to make noise in recruiting, picking up another commitment from a four-star prospect.

Clemson has made heavy noise in the 2024 recruiting cycle over the last few months, and the Tigers continued to add to their class on Saturday.

Corian Gipson announced his verbal pledge to Clemson at Lancaster High School (Lancaster, Texas) on Saturday, choosing the Tigers over the Texas Longhorns.

While there was a lot of speculation over which team Gipson would choose, the 6-foot, 170-pound defensive back ultimately FaceTimed head coach Dabo Swinney at his commitment announcement to let him know he is coming to Clemson.

Gipson is the No. 7 cornerback and the No. 67 overall recruit in the class of 2024, according to 247Sports Composite rankings.

With Gipson’s pledge, Clemson’s 2024 recruiting class has 17 commitments.

4-star cornerback Corian Gipson commits to Clemson

Swinney and the Tigers land a four-star cornerback in the 2024 class.

Dabo Swinney and the Clemson football program have landed another big-time commitment in the 2024 class. 

Four-star cornerback Corian Gipson has committed to the Tigers, giving the program their 17th recruit in the 2024 class. Clemson beat Alabama, TCU, Texas, and Ohio State for the highly-touted recruits’ commitment. 

According to 247Sports composite rankings, Gipson currently ranks as the No.7 cornerback and No.67 overall recruit in the 2024 class. According to On3’s industry rankings, he ranks a bit lower as the No.8 CB and the No.73 overall recruit in the class.

The Tigers are clearly honing in on the secondary in their 2024 class, with commitments from four-star safety Ricardo Jones, four-star safety Tavoy Feagin and four-star safety Noah Dixon. Gipson is the highest-rated recruit of the four.

4-star Clemson cornerback target receives crystal ball from 247Sports Director of Recruiting Steve Wiltfong

Clemson receives a Steve Wiltfong crystal ball prediction for a top recruit. Wiltfong is currently hitting at a near 97% rate with his predictions.

Dabo Swinney and the Clemson football program await this commitment but received excellent news on Friday with this crystal ball prediction. 

247Sports Director of Recruiting Steve Wiltfong gave the Tigers his crystal ball prediction for four-star 2024 cornerback Corian Gipson. Wiltfong is the best in the business, currently 286 / 295 (96.95%) in the class with his predictions. 

According to 247Sports composite rankings, Gipson ranks as the No.7 cornerback and the No.67 overall player in the class. He would be an excellent addition to the Tigers’ 2024 recruiting class.

The highly touted cornerback is set to announce his commitment on July 22 at 5:00 pm, and the Tigers have as good of a chance as any to land his commitment.
