Badgers offer three-star athlete from Chicago

Wisconsin offered Tysean Griffin, a three-star athlete from Chicago on Thursday.

The Badgers offered Tysean Griffin, a three-star athlete from Chicago, Illinois on Thursday. The 5-foot-11 Griffin has experience on both sides of the ball, operating as a running back, wide receiver and cornerback for Morgan Park, High School.

Griffin would be a member of the class of 2024 and therefore has one more year before he’d join a collegiate program. He has already received multiple offers from other schools outside of Wisconsin, including one from Cincinnati, new Badger head coach Luke Fickell’s former team.

So far, Wisconsin has earned two commitments for the class of 2024, four-star quarterback Mabrey Mettauer (The Woodlands, Texas) and cornerback Austin Alexander (Chicago Heights, Illinois).

Wisconsin offers 2024 four-star LB Payton Pierce

After a visit this weekend, the Wisconsin Badgers have offered one of the best linebackers in the class of 2024:

After a visit on campus this weekend, the Wisconsin Badgers have offered 2024 four-star linebacker Payton Pierce per an announcement on his Twitter on Saturday.

The four-star recruit plays for Lovejoy High School in Lovejoy, Texas, and is the No. 8-ranked LB in the country and No. 14-ranked player in Texas per 247Sports. Pierce holds numerous power-five offers including from Minnesota, Mississippi State, Texas, Arkansas and Baylor.

The No. 8-ranked linebacker in the country would be a huge pick-up for the Badgers, who were statistically one of the best defenses in the nation last season.

Wisconsin basketball gets in an early offer on 2024 in-state combo-guard Nick Janowski:

Early Monday afternoon, the Wisconsin Badgers offered 2024 in-state combo-guard Nick Janowski per an announcement on his Twitter.

Janowski is from Pewaukee, Wis., and plays for Pewaukee High School in addition to being on the Phenom University Team Herro AAU team. The four-star recruit is the fifth-ranked combo-guard in the country and the second-ranked player in Wisconsin per 247Sports.

In addition to the offer from the Badgers, Janowski holds early offers from several big schools including Marquette, Iowa State, USC and Georgia Tech.

Although Greg Gard and Wisconsin were able to get an early offer in, it will not be easy for the Badgers to land the talented in-state recruit.
