Fans of Michigan State Football can breathe a quick sigh of relief this weekend. One of the top recruits in MSU’s 2021 recruiting class, 4-star (Rivals) cornerback Charles Brantley, officially shut down his recruitment over the weekend, eliminating any risk that he will de-commit, which has happened a few times in this recruiting class.
Brantley committed to the Spartans back at the end of April and has been very vocal in his commitment to stick with Michigan State, but always reassuring to see this news come through.
So far, Michigan State has lost two commits to other schools as Jake Renda flipped to Pitt and Gabe “Spida” Nealy switched his commitment to South Florida.

Brantley will headline a recruiting class that just became much stronger with the recruitment of Geno VanDeMark on Saturday.
