S Rodney McLeod Jr. leaves game with biceps injury

Cleveland Browns safety Rodney McLeod Jr. exited the Pittsburgh Steelers game with a biceps injury.

McLeod started in place of Juan Thornhill, who missed the game with an injury. Undrafted free agent Ronnie Hickman Jr. from Ohio State will finish the game for McLeod. The Browns need good play from Hickman as the Steelers’ running backs are marching down the field against the Cleveland Browns. The game is currently tied 10-10 with 8 minutes left in the fourth quarter.

Browns: LB Anthony Walker Jr. questionable with hamstring injury vs. Steelers

Browns LB Anthony Walker Jr. leaves Steelers game with a hamstring injury. He is questionable to return.

In the second quarter, Cleveland Browns linebacker Anthony Walker Jr. exited the game with a hamstring injury. The veteran is being treated in the locker room and he’s questionable to return. Walker Jr. has played very well this season, completely recovering from a torn quadricep he suffered against the Pittsburgh Steelers last season. This has often been the case for the veteran linebacker this season.

As the signal caller, Walker has been an integral part of the Browns’ historically dominant defense. Browns’ veteran Sione Takitaki replaced Walker in the defense. Takitaki is a highly capable linebacker and should have no problem replacing Walker against the Steelers.

The Cleveland Browns are currently beating the Pittsburgh Steelers 7-0 halfway through the second quarter. No matter who is on the field for the Browns, the Steelers are struggling to move the ball.

Can they continue to hold up and pull out yet another win?

Browns safety Juan Thornhill exits Ravens game with calf injury

Cleveland Browns safety Juan Thornhill left the Ravens game with a calf injury.

Cleveland Browns safety Juan Thornhill exited Sunday’s game against the Baltimore Ravens at the start of the third quarter.

Thornhill was injured after making a touchdown-saving tackle against Ravens receiver Zay Flowers. Thornhill was quickly rushed to the medical tent while Flowers limped off the field. Thornhill is currently in the locker room with a calf injury. He is questionable to return.

Thornhill was a key addition to the defense this offseason. The safety has helped lead the Browns’ defense to a historically great start. Cleveland needs Thornhill back. The defense gave up a long touchdown pass to former Browns and current Ravens receiver Odell Beckham Jr. immediately after he exited the game.

The Browns have replaced Thornhill with Rodney McLeod Jr., another veteran leader. Cleveland’s defense needs to play much better as the defensive backfield has suffered multiple injuries during the Ravens game.

Cornerback Denzel Ward was previously ruled out with a neck injury he sustained during the first quarter.

Browns CB Denzel Ward questionable to return vs. Ravens with neck injury

Cleveland Browns CB Denzel Ward is questionable to return with a neck injury vs. Ravens.

Cleveland Browns star cornerback Denzel Ward exited Sunday’s game against the Baltimore Ravens in the first half.

Ward went to the locker room after the Ravens’ second drive of the game. The cornerback was evaluated for a concussion. Ward briefly stepped into the medical tent as Baltimore kicked a field goal to take a 17-3 lead.

Ward has suffered multiple concussions throughout his professional career. He was last diagnosed with a concussion in August before the season started. Ward’s history of concussions is extremely worrisome and has provoked a lot of dialogue among the fan base. The cornerback’s long-term health as a human being is paramount to a football career.

Shortly after publication, Ward cleared concussion protocol. But it was announced that Ward suffered a neck injury, and his return is officially questionable.

The Browns have moved former first-round pick Greg Newsome II from the slot to the outside to replace Ward. The Browns’ cornerback room has suffered several injuries between Newsome, Ward, and rookie cornerback Cam Mitchell.  The team will need all of them healthy to stop an explosive Ravens’ passing game.

Browns LT Jedrick Wills Jr. carted off in air cast vs. Cardinals

Cleveland Browns LT Jedrick Wills Jr. leaves Cardinals game with a severe leg injury.

Cleveland Browns left tackle Jedrick Wills Jr. left the Week 9 matchup between the Arizona Cardinals and Browns with an air cast on his leg. Wills had the back of his leg rolled up during a tackle and went to the ground immediately in pain. Wills exited the game earlier with a knee injury and decided to return and finish out the game.

This is very saddening news for Wills who is playing in the final year of his contract. The much-maligned tackle was playing at a high level this season. His injury could cost him a lot during contract negotiations.

Wills will mark the third offensive starter the Browns have lost to injury for the season. Fellow tackle Jack Conklin Jr. and star running back Nick Chubb were injured at the start of the season. The Browns will need to dig deep to find an acceptable replacement for Wills. Backup swing tackle James Hudson III has replaced him in this game.

Browns OT Ty Nsekhe leaves Seahawks game with a bicep injury

Offensive tackle Ty Nsekhe leaves Seahawks game with a bicep injury.

Offensive tackle Ty Nsekhe has been ruled out of the Seahawks game after suffering a bicep injury. The 38-year-old veteran tackle was signed to the Browns’ practice squad for most of the season. Nsekhe was promoted to the active roster yesterday. The journeyman tackle was injured in his only play. Hopefully, the injury isn’t too serious for the veteran tackle. It’s always sad to see a career put in jeopardy by injury.

The Browns lost starting offensive tackle Dawand Jones before halftime with a shoulder injury. James Hudson III is the current right tackle.

The Browns are battling the Seahawks going into the final minutes of the game. The team will have to depend on their offensive passing game at some moment during the end. Hopefully, they will not be further affected by injuries.

Browns LB Tony Fields II exits vs. Seahawks

Browns linebacker Tony Fields II leaves Seahawks game with an injury.

Cleveland Browns linebacker Tony Fields II exited the game against the Seattle Seahawks during the second quarter. The third-year linebacker was injured during the punt return as he was near the tackle pile. Fields is a special teams ace and the primary backup to the starting linebackers. In last week’s thrilling victory over the Colts, Fields recovered a fumble in the end zone to help spark the win.

Fields is a talented backup with a nose for the football. Hopefully, Fields returns against the Seahawks. The Browns are down 14-17 against the Seahawks and need all the help they can get.

There has been no update on what Fields II exited the field with.

Deshaun Watson exits Colts game early

Deshaun Watson left the game against the Colts with a shoulder or head injury.

Deshaun Watson left the game against the Colts after the first quarter with a shoulder injury. Watson has been battling a right shoulder injury for the past month. A lot of secrecy has surrounded Watson’s injury over the past month, leading many to wonder how healthy the franchise quarterback is. It is still unclear what specifically ails Watson. Watson is being examined by the Cleveland Browns medical staff and the independent neurologist who checks for concussions.

Watson leaves the game against the Colts with one completion for five yards and an interception on five attempts. Watson threw another interception that would later be ruled incomplete on the play he was injured on. Hopefully, Watson will be able to get back to full health. The Browns cannot continue to rush the quarterback back. Watson’s arm looked very weak today.

The Browns need to rely on P.J. Walker to help dig them out of a 14-7 deficit against the Colts. P.J. Walker is a solid backup quarterback who helped lead the team to a victory over the San Francisco 49ers last Sunday.

Browns lose LB Anthony Walker Jr. and CB Mike Ford vs. 49ers

Anthony Walker Jr. and Mike Ford exit the Browns-49ers game with concussions.

Cleveland Browns linebacker Anthony Walker Jr. has been ruled out with a concussion. Walker got injured at the end of the third quarter against the San Fransisco 49ers.  Walker was having an excellent game against the 49ers, as his defense held them to 10 points in the first three quarters. Walker had one tackle in the game. Walker’s leadership will be missed as the Browns and 49ers continue their defensive battle.

Linebackers Sione Takitaki and Jeremiah Owusu-Koromoah will see a larger workload to replace the captain of the defense. Hopefully, Walker will be able to heal quickly and clear the concussion protocol by next week.

Cornerback Mike Ford is being evaluated for a concussion. The special teams ace was also injured during the third quarter. It appears that the Browns are using Greg Newsome II as Ford’s replacement on special teams. Ford plays on every special teams unit. The Browns are suffering a spat of bad luck as they battle against the 49ers. Hopefully, both Mike Ford and Anthony Walker Jr. heal up quickly.

Browns LB Sione Takitaki leaves Ravens game with cramps

Sione Takitaki exits the Browns-Ravens games with cramps. He is not expected to return.

Cleveland Browns linebacker Sione Takitaki left the game against the Baltimore Ravens with cramps. The veteran linebacker was seen walking back to the locker room with trainers during the third quarter. He is not expected to return. He joins center Ethan Pocic as a player to leave this game.

The veteran linebacker made multiple stops earlier in the game, finishing the game with three tackles. Takitaki helped fill in for Anthony Walker Jr. when he was sidelined with an arm injury for two series. Takitaki is a celebrated leader within the locker room who spent the entire off-season rehabbing a torn ACL.

The Browns have been struggling with injuries against the Ravens all day. They lost Deshaun Watson in the morning during the pregame warm-ups. They have lost starting center Ethan Pocic twice today and lost Anthony Walker Jr. for a quarter. The Browns will have a bye week following the Ravens game to get rested and healthy. Football is a game of attrition, and the Browns are losing that game as well.
