Browns LB Sione Takitaki leaves Ravens game with cramps

Sione Takitaki exits the Browns-Ravens games with cramps. He is not expected to return.

Cleveland Browns linebacker Sione Takitaki left the game against the Baltimore Ravens with cramps. The veteran linebacker was seen walking back to the locker room with trainers during the third quarter. He is not expected to return. He joins center Ethan Pocic as a player to leave this game.

The veteran linebacker made multiple stops earlier in the game, finishing the game with three tackles. Takitaki helped fill in for Anthony Walker Jr. when he was sidelined with an arm injury for two series. Takitaki is a celebrated leader within the locker room who spent the entire off-season rehabbing a torn ACL.

The Browns have been struggling with injuries against the Ravens all day. They lost Deshaun Watson in the morning during the pregame warm-ups. They have lost starting center Ethan Pocic twice today and lost Anthony Walker Jr. for a quarter. The Browns will have a bye week following the Ravens game to get rested and healthy. Football is a game of attrition, and the Browns are losing that game as well.
