Cleveland Browns defensive end Za’Darius Smith exited the win in the final moments against the Chicago Bears. Smith was injured when he collided with Myles Garrett on a stunt in the game’s closing seconds. Smith was blindsided and stayed on the field for quite a while before being moved to the medical tent. His injury wasn’t disclosed in the immediate aftermath of the game.

The Browns cannot afford to lose Za’Darius Smith for multiple games. The team has lost over 15 players to injured reserve. Last week multiple Browns’ defenders went on injured reserve including starter Grant Delpit, and fellow defensive linemen Ogbo Okoronkwo, and Maurice Hurst II. The Browns cannot afford to lose Bitonio for an extended period. Bitonio is the longest-tenured Browns player and one of the leaders of the offense. The Browns have been bit hard by the injury bug across the entire time. The team has lost over 16 players this season to IR. With Bitonio’s injury right guard, Wyatt Teller is currently the only healthy starter on the Week 1 offensive line. The Browns need to get healthy as they prepare for the playoffs.

Ford had for 42 yards on nine carries, and he caught four passes for 26 yards before his injury. He finished the game with three more carries for nine yards and a reception for seven yards. The toughness Ford displayed today will win fans and the admiration of his teammates.

The season’s theme for the Cleveland Browns is resiliency. The team has battled their way through injuries all season, and at 8-5 on the season, they’re winning a majority of those battles. Ford will have a week to heal before the Browns take on the Chicago Bears next Sunday.

He is questionable to return. He is one of many starters to exit with an injury.

Grant Delpit played an up-and-down game against the Jaguars. The safety had a crucial sack on third down that knocked the Jaguars out of field goal range. However, Delpit found himself targeted in two major plays between Evan Engram and Lawrence. One resulted in a touchdown, the other resulted in a first down.

Delpit signed a three-year thirty-six million dollar extension this morning. Delpit has been an integral piece of the Browns number one number-one-ranked defense and the team cemented him as a long-term piece.

The veteran duo are a commendable pair and should have no problem facing a depleted Jaguars offensive line.

The Browns’ defense has suffocated the Jaguars so far in the matchup. Elliott contributed for one tackle. The Browns are currently beating the Jaguars 14-7 heading into halftime.

The Denver Broncos are coached by Sean Payton who has an ugly history for running a bounty program.

Hopefully, the Browns will be able to leave the Broncos game with most of their health intact. The Cleveland Browns are currently losing to the Denver Broncos 12-24 entering the final quarter of the game.

Defensive end Za’Darius Smith walked off with trainers during the third quarter of this Week 12 matchup between the Cleveland Browns and Denver Broncos. The defensive end injured his ankle during a tackle on the first play of the second half. Smith walked into the locker room with trainers after being examined in the medical tent.

Until he returns (if he returns) expect a heavier workload for both Ogbo Okoronkwo and Alex Wright. The defense came up with a big three-and-out to start the second half, so getting Smith back into the lineup would give this Cleveland defense an added boost.

The Browns are losing to the Broncos 6-14 going into the end of the third quarter. The Browns need their pass rushers to stop a dynamic Broncos passing attack. The Broncos are taking advantage of a stalwart Browns’ defense.
