Recapping the 3 roster moves Broncos made Wednesday

The Broncos placed RB Audric Estime on IR, promoted FB Michael Burton to the 53-man roster and signed WR Kaden Davis to the PS on Wednesday.

The Denver Broncos had a busy Wednesday.

First, the Broncos placed running back Audric Estime on injured reserve with an ankle injury. That move created a chain reaction of two corresponding moves.

To fill Estime’s former spot on the active roster, Denver promoted fullback Michael Burton from the practice squad. Burton’s promotion created an opening on the practice squad, so the Broncos signed wide receiver Kaden Davis to the practice squad.

The earliest Estime would be eligible to return is Week 6. In the meantime, Blake Watson is now in line to serve as the team’s third-string running back.

The Broncos promoted FB Michael Burton to the 53-man roster and officially signed WR Kaden Davis to the practice squad on Wednesday.

To fill Burton’s former spot on the practice squad, the Broncos officially signed wide receiver Kaden Davis before Wednesday’s practice.

Davis (6-1, 190 pounds) has spent time with the Broncos, Arizona Cardinals and Detroit Lions since entering the league as an undrafted free agent out of Northwest Missouri State in 2022, but he is yet to appear in a regular season game.
