The Spartans have extended an offer to an elite tight end in the 2026 class.

Brock Harris of Saint George, Utah has reportedly received a scholarship offer from the Spartans, according to Corey Robinson of 247Sports. Harris is a five-star tight end in the 2026 class.

Harris ranks as the No. 3 tight end and No. 24 overall prospect in 247Sports’ composite rankings for the 2026 class. He’s also ranked as the No. 1 player from Utah.

Harris received the offer during his recent visit to Michigan State this week, according to 247Sports. He holds offers from nearly 40 programs, including the likes of Alabama, Auburn, Florida State, Georgia, Miami (FL), Michigan, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Penn State, Tennessee, Texas, Texas A&M and USC.

Wisconsin football secures unofficial visit with five-star tight end

Five-star class of 2026 tight end Brock Harris announced his plans to unofficially visit the Wisconsin Badgers this summer, according to his post on X.

Alongside Wisconsin, Harris will unofficially venture to a cohort of the most prestigious programs in the nation. The list includes Alabama, Auburn, LSU, Michigan, Michigan State, Miami, Notre Dame, Ohio State and Oregon.

The program offered the five-star recruit in June 2023. At 6-foot-6, 235 pounds, the rising junior representing Pine View High School in St. George, Utah.

247Sports’ Harris ranked as the No. 22 player in the class of 2026, No. 3 tight end and No. 1 recruit from his home state of Utah.

The rising junior has received a staggering 34 Division 1 offers to this point, including from Ohio State, Alabama, Texas, LSU, Notre Dame, Ole Miss, USC, Penn State, Michigan, Florida State, Oregon, Georgia and Washington.

In just 10 games as a sophomore, Harris caught 55 passes and reached the end zone eight times. He also performed well at 2023’s Under Armour Camp Series stop in Salt Lake City and even received a bid to the 2026 All-American Bowl.

Harris unofficially visited Texas A&M, Utah, Alabama and Washington in 2023. He has yet to schedule an official visit, per 247Sports.

247Sports has yet to release a crystal ball prediction, but On3’s recruiting prediction machine has USC and Oregon as the most likely landing spots at this early stage in the cycle.

Wisconsin’s current tight end room consists of Tucker Ashcraft, Riley Nowakowski, Jackson McGowan, Robert Booker and Grant Stec. Luke Fickell is still working to revamp the room now entering year two at the helm.

An elite tight end prospect in the 2026 class will take an unofficial visit to Michigan State.

Brock Harris of Saint George, Utah announced on Monday that he intends on taking an unofficial visit to Michigan State amongst numerous other big-time programs. Harris is a five-star tight end in the 2026 class.

Harris will also take unofficial visits to Alabama, Auburn, LSU, Michigan, Miami (FL), Notre Dame, Ohio State, Oregon and Wisconsin.

Harris ranks as the No. 3 tight end and No. 22 overall prospect in 247Sports’ composite rankings for the 2026 class. He’s also listed as the top player from Utah in the class.

Michigan State is the only schools on Harris’ upcoming list of unofficial visits to not have already offered him a scholarship. He holds offers from more than 30 schools, according to 247Sports.

The Buckeyes are going after the 5-star tight end

Ohio State football is seeing its tight end recruiting trending in the right direction over the last few week.

Shortly before the Scarlet and Gray game kickoff, the Buckeyes received a commitment from Oklahoma tight end Nate Roberts. The 2025 prospect was the top player at the position on the Ohio State recruiting board.

The Buckeyes now turned their focus on the 2026 class, as on Sunday they offered Utah’s [autotag]Brock Harris[/autotag]. The 6-foot, 6-inch and 238-pound high school junior is one of the best players in the country regardless of position. The 247Sports Composite Rankings have Harris as the No. 21 overall prospect and 2nd at his position, making him a 5-star.

Coming off the success of Cade Stover, it is looking like Ohio State is becoming a much more appealing destination for tight ends.

Social media reactions pour in from blue-chip visitors in Eugene over the weekend

Some of the top-ranked recruits who were on campus in Eugene reacted to their visit with the Oregon Ducks at Junior Day.

Dan Lanning and the Oregon Ducks coaching staff stayed busy over the weekend, hosting some of the top-ranked players in the nation in both the 2025 and 2026 classes.

There were several five-star players on campus, from wide receiver Dakorien Moore and safety DJ Pickett to quarterback Jared Curtis and tight end Brock Harris.
