WATCH: Ref makes hilarious mistake during Bills-Texans:

Clay Martin, head referee for the Week 5 clash between the Buffalo Bills and Houston Texans, added to the NFL referee blooper reel on Sunday.

While trying to tell the audience that quarterback Josh Allen had stepped out of bounds before fumbling late in the first quarter, Martin fumbled himself:

“After crew discussion, the runner was out of bounds before he fumbled the basketball,” Martin said.

Basketball season is right around the corner, and with Martin currently serving as head coach for a high school varsity basketball program, the mistake is justified. But, the blooper will live on forever.

Atlanta Braves’ mascot Blooper ruthlessly stiff-armed a kid while playing football, again

Menacing mascots strike again.

Like SO MANY sports mascots around the country, the Atlanta Braves’ Blooper sometimes can be a hilarious and chaotic menace, especially when it comes to football.

Just in the last few months, we’ve seen Blooper dish out an NFL-caliber tackle and wreck a bunch of kids on the gridiron. Well, the Atlanta mascot was back at it again, this time Saturday during the Minnesota Vikings-Indianapolis Colts game.

When a handful of mascots took the field to play against a bunch of kids, Blooper continued his absolutely ruthless streak of destroying them. Running with the ball, Blooper showed zero mercy here and stiff-armed one kid to the ground before plowing through a handful of others trying halt him.

Total chaos but so much fun, and hopefully Blooper did something really nice for the kids he wrecked.

Braves’ mascot Blooper showed no mercy, stiff-armed kids during football game

Blooper was GOING to find the end zone. No matter what.

Some sports mascots are there to pump up the home fans and have a little fun. They clock in, they clock out, and they head home with their mascot head and lunch pail.

The Atlanta Braves’ Blooper is not one of these such mascots. Just this summer, Blooper has gotten into all sorts of hijinks. For example, there was that time it tried to jump through two tables off a ladder. Or when it made a textbook tackle of another mascot peer, showing off some football talents.

On Saturday, Blooper used those talents again, this time in a game against youth football players at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta. And on a run to the left side, Blooper definitely did not hold back its vicious stiff arm against the would-be young defenders:

Holy cow! Did the first few kids Blooper toss aside even have a chance? One thing’s for sure: Blooper would not be denied the end zone, regardless of the competition.

The Atlanta Braves’ mascot, Blooper, should probably look into playing for the Falcons after this amazing tackle

Blooper looks like a middle linebacker out there.

The Atlanta Braves’ Blooper mascot is pretty brilliant. I’m not sure who’s inside there, but whoever they are did once get Bryce Harper to sign away his Phillies contract.

But it’s not just brains in there — there’s some brawn, too. The mascot might actually have an NFL job waiting for them after seeing the way this tackle went down on Friday.

To be completely honest, I’m not all sure what’s going on in this scene. There are two Home Depot mascots here and they’re running away. It looks like the drill mascot has stolen something and the bucket mascot is trying to get it back.

So here comes Blooper to save the day with this textbook tackle. Just look at this thing, y’all.

Squares up. Shoulders are great. It’s totally legal, too. This is a great tackle. An NFL-caliber one, in fact. Someone needs to call the Falcons and get this thing popping — they do have to back up that Super Bowl prediction from Desmond Ridder, after all.

Seriously. This is great, fun stuff. Hopefully, no mascots were hurt in the making of this.
