The Georgia Bulldogs are among the top schools for four-star defensive end Cyrus Moss. Moss is ranked as the top recruit in Nevada from the class of 2022.

If Georgia can secure a commitment from Moss, then Kirby Smart will have landed the top recruit from Nevada in two of the past three years. The Bulldogs signed Darnell Washington who was 2020’s No. 1 recruit from Nevada. Smart has expanded Georgia’s recruiting sphere and is having some serious success out west.

Cyrus Moss is the No. 50 overall recruit in his class and the No. 5 ranked defensive end. Moss has great length at 6-foot-5, but he needs to continue to add to his frame. Moss only weighs 220 pounds.

That being said, Moss is very fast for a defensive end or outside linebacker. He has previous experience playing safety and is capable of dropping back into coverage. The skinny defensive end has shades of Adam Anderson and Leonard Floyd in his game.

Moss announced his top schools via his Twitter account:

The four-star defensive end puts Georgia, Clemson, Oregon, Florida, Oklahoma, Penn State, Notre Dame, Arizona State, Alabama, Michigan State, and USC in his top 11.

Cyrus Moss has an impressive 6-foot-9 wingspan and uses his length and speed to win in pass rushing situations. Moss plays football for Bishop Gorman High School in Las Vegas, Nevada.
