With that win, Nebraska improved to 12-2 on the season. That’s the best 14-game record since the 1990-91 team opened the season with a record of 13-1.

The victory also snapped the Cornhusker’s seven-game losing streak to Indiana. The 16-point margin of victory was Nebraska’s largest margin of victory in the series dating back to 1920.

Following the victory, Nebraska head coach Fred Hoiberg told the press that he thought Wednesday’s performance was the most complete game of the season.

“I thought tonight was about as consistent as we have been for 40 minutes. We had a complete game. Shared the ball. Had eight turnovers. This is certainly a step in the right direction after the last couple of games. And I thought we had good movement on the offensive end, and got the ball to the right guy. It was great to see Keisei (Tominaga) get it going. I love that his family was in the building.”

Nebraska now stands at 12-2 (2-1) and will take on the Wisconsin Badgers in Madison on Saturday at 1:15 p.m. You can find a photo gallery of the Huskers victory below.
