Where MSU football, rest of Big Ten lands in 247Sports way-too-early 2023 bowl projections

Will Michigan State return to the postseason after disappointingly missing out on a bowl game last year?

Will Michigan State return to the postseason after disappointingly missing out on a bowl game last year? Brad Crawford of 247Sports believes that’s the case as we approach spring practice.

Crawford released a batch of way-too-early bowl projections for the 2023 season, and he has the Spartans heading back to a bowl game. But where will Michigan State be spending the holiday season later this year?

See where the Spartans and the rest of the Big Ten teams fall in 247Sports’ way-too-early bowl projections:

Bowl Projections from CBS Sports: Where Wisconsin, rest of Big Ten lands after Week

The Badgers face off against a traditional SEC powerhouse

The Badgers may have fallen out of the Big Ten West race on Saturday, but a bowl game is still a likely possibility for Wisconsin.

Sitting at 5-5, the Badgers need to take one of their final two games (at Nebraska, vs. Minnesota) in order to gain bowl eligibility.

CBS Sports recently looked at where the Big Ten, and rest of the country, stand in terms of bowl projections.

It hasn’t been the season Wisconsin fans had hoped for, but it can still end with a bowl victory for interim head coach Jim Leonhard and company.

Where did the Badgers land in the latest projections? Here is a look at them alongside the rest of the Big Ten conference:

College Football News Week 0 bowl projections

College Football News released its first bowl predictions after Week 0. Here is where he has all the Big ten teams going in the postseason.

Our friends over at College Football News have provided us with their updated bowl projections after the completion of Week 0 and there isn’t a ton of surprises, especially considering all of the college football playoff favorites stayed at home However, I still like to monitor where the Big Ten teams are slated.

To recap the first week of very modest action for the Big Ten, only three teams played with Northwestern providing the big upset over Nebraska and Illinois stomping Wyoming. Northwestern cruising to a big win was a bit of an eye opener and we will see if that has any impact on these bowl predictions. Let’s dive into where each Big Ten team is slated according to Pete Fiutak of CFN.

Preseason Big Ten bowl projections, college football playoff predictions for 2022

A preseason prediction of where Big Ten teams might go bowling in 2022 along with college football playoff picks. #B1G

The Big Ten has a rich, rich history in bowl games, and the expectations are that it will continue in 2022, or so we think.

Here at Buckeyes Wire, we keep the tradition going and give you a look at where we think all the teams in the conference will end up when the dust settles on the season, one that is one of the last before some cataclysmic shake-ups in conference teams and affiliations take place.

We re-evaluate after each week with games and projects based on what we have seen, but first, we must have a base to go from, so we’re peering into the crystal ball before the season starts to determine where we think each time might land.

Keep in mind these scenarios are very complicated with bowl tie-ins and contractual preferences for teams that have not been involved in certain matches, so we do our best to track it all. We also throw in the College Football Playoff picks as a cherry on top of it all.

Below is a look at the bowl projections and playoff picks before all the fun begins for the 2022 season.

2022-23 bowl projections for Big Ten teams

Where do Big Ten teams land in the latest bowl projections

It’s never too early to look ahead to bowl season, and the Big Ten should once again be well-represented come December.

Athlon Sports recently released updated bowl projections for the 2022 season and had the Badgers lined up against an SEC opponent.

A number of Big Ten squads were included in the latest projections, with Ohio State projected to be in the College Football Playoff National Semifinal.

Alongside the Buckeyes were Georgia, Alabama, and Clemson to round out the expected College Football Playoff participants. Where did the Badgers end up and what other Big Ten teams were included? Here is a complete conference look at the Athlon Sports 2023 bowl projections:

Big Ten bowl projections, College Football Playoff picks and predictions after Week 5

Where will all the Big Ten head come bowl season? What about the College Football Playoff? Here’s what we see after Week 5.

The Big Ten has a rich, rich history in bowling, and the expectations are that it will continue in 2021, or so we think.

Here at Buckeyes Wire, we keep the tradition going and give you a look at where we think all the teams in the conference will end up when the dust settles on the season, one that is hopefully COVID-19 drama-free.

We re-evaluate after each week with games and projects based on what we have seen. As each week goes on, we know a little more about each team and what things look like, and we’re starting to get a little better idea of how good teams are. Week 5 offered more to look at and more evidence of what postseason plays might look like, but it’s still fairly early in the season.

Keep in mind that these scenarios are very complicated with bowl-tie-ins and contractual preferences for teams that have not been involved in certain matches, so we do our best to track it all.

Here’s a look at the bowl projections after Week 5 of the college football season.

Big Ten football and College Football Playoff Bowl projections, predictions after conference Week 7

As we do each week, we project where Big Ten teams will go bowling, and what teams will make the College Football Playoff.

The Big Ten has a rich, rich history in historical bowl games, and the expectations are set for that to continue in 2020, or so we think.

Here at Buckeyes Wire, we’re keeping with tradition and giving you a peek at where we think all the teams in the conference will end up when all the dust settles on the season.

We reassess after each week of games and project based on what we’ve seen. After giving this thing a run through a few weeks early on in the season, we now have a pretty good idea of where some things stand now that there are seven weeks down in conference play. We’ve seen some surprises, upsets, and wacky games, so this will all remain in flux.

Keep in mind some bowls aren’t planning on having a game this year, so it culls the field a wee bit for the lower end, lesser money-making bowl games.

Also, remember these scenarios are very complicated with basically all teams eligible this year because of the coronavirus pandemic. There are also agreements with bowls to not repeat the same program over a certain time-frame if at all possible that may or may not pertain this season.

Here’s a look at the projections after Week 7 in the Big Ten.
