After it seemed that Auburn’s early-season matchup against Gonzaga would not be played, the game is reportedly back on and in a new location.
Per Jon Rothstein, the Tigers and Bulldogs will meet on Friday, November 27 in Fort Myers as part of a four-team tournament. Kansas is also involved and another team is to be named. (Editor’s note: As someone still quarantining in Fort Myers, I welcome Bruce Pearl and the entire staff to dinner.)
HUGE matchup in the works for opening night of CBB, sources tell CBS Sports: Kansas vs Gonzaga on Nov. 25 in Fort Myers. Auburn is also in this MTE. Fourth team is to-be-determined, but plan is then Auburn-Gonzaga would play Nov. 27, with Kansas playing TBD team that date too.

Auburn was originally set to play Gonzaga in Orlando but protocols put in by Disney made the games unplayable.
