Five-star offensive tackle recruit Amarius Mims has set his final top schools. Mims is one of the top players in the class of 2021 and would be an excellent addition to Georgia’s class.
Mims is six-feet, eight-inches tall and weighs 315 pounds. He has an ideal frame for an offensive tackle. He plays high school football at Bleckley County and is from Cochran, Georgia. He’s considered the top offensive lineman in Georgia.
Mims is considering several SEC schools. Mims included UGA in his original top eight, but he has deleted that tweet. Now, it appears Mims is working with a top ten of UGA, Alabama, Oregon, Oklahoma, FSU, Clemson, LSU, Florida, Tennessee and Auburn.
He set his commitment date via Twitter:
i will be committing AUG. 15th!!!

Mims would be an elite recruit for Georgia’s class of 2021. Georgia has nine commitments in the class of 2021, but that may change soon. UGA coach Kirby Smart and his staff will focus heavily on the class of 2021 following the end of the recruiting dead period.
Will Mims join UGA in the class of 2021? He’s projected to join the Dawgs at the moment according to recruiting experts. Mims recruitment is tough to predict though. Don’t rule out Tennessee, Auburn, and Alabama.
