Nate Oats, Alabama MBB land 4-star SG Davin Cosby

Nate Oats strikes again on the recruiting trail with four-star SG Davin Crosby

Nate Oats and the Alabama Crimson Tide landed a massive commitment today from four-star shooting guard, Davin Cosby. Cosby is the No. 109 ranked player in the 2023 class and the No. 19 shooting guard according to 247 Sports. Cosby also had offers from the likes of Tennessee, LSU, Virginia, and many more.

Cosby, a North Carolina native, is a very athletic wing at 6’5 180 pounds and is an outstanding spot-up shooter. Cosby will be a great addition to Oats squad as a lethal shooter and a defender who can get into the passing lanes. Jaden Shackelford is the only listed shooting guard on the Alabama roster, and Cosby may be able to crack the lineup sooner rather than later.

Alabama offers 2022 4-star RB Nicholas Singleton

Nick Saban and the Crimson Tide continue to hit the recruiting trail. Yesterday, they offered a four-star running back from Pennsylvania.

The reigning national champions continue to try and climb their way up the 2022 recruiting class rankings. They currently rank No. 15 in the nation with only four recruits committed, according to 247Sports.

Now, they’ve offered a four-star running back from the class of 2022. Nicholas Singleton, from Pennsylvania, ranks as the No. 5 running back in his class.

He holds offers from other high-profile schools such as Penn State, Notre Dame and Ohio State.

Experts at 247Sports predict Singleton will choose Penn State. However, with this new Crimson Tide offer, things could change.

Many NFL running backs call Alabama their former home. With names such as Derrick Henry, Mark Ingram, Kenyan Drake and others having played under Nick Saban, a young running back may want the same coaching.
