The Alabama men’s basketball coaching staff extended an offer to 2025 four-star power forward Nigel Walls.

The Alabama men’s basketball coaching staff extended its most recent offer to 2025 power forward Nigel Walls.

Walls plays for St. Francis Episcopal School in Houston, Texas. He is listed at 6-foot-10 and 195 pounds. That is an eerily similar frame to that of Alabama freshman forward Jarin Stevenson. Stevenson is listed at 6-foot-11 and 210 pounds.

It is no coincidence that the Crimson Tide are pursuing a player similar to Stevenson. Walls has a similar skillset and is as dynamic of a big man as you will find in the ’25 recruiting class.

His production showed during his sophomore season. In 23 games, he averaged 14.2 points per game, 8.7 rebounds per game, and 2.6 assists per game.

The Crimson Tide would love to get Walls on campus for a visit and see where things go from there.

While Alabama has hosted Underwood for just one unofficial visit, the Crimson Tide has remained in contact with him.

Several other quarterbacks that Alabama is recruiting in the ’25 recruiting class are five-star George MacIntyre and four-star K.J. Lacey. Lacey is currently committed to Texas.

Alabama is recruiting Charles to play defensive tackle. A position that he is familiar with as he plays the same position at his high school.

While Charles has not taken an unofficial visit to Alabama, he still has the Crimson Tide as one of his finalist. It will be interesting to see how his recruitment plays out.

2025 5-star CB Devin Sanchez has Alabama in top 3, announcing commitment at Army All-American Bowl

2025 five-star cornerback Devin Sanchez will be announcing his college commitment on Jan. 6 between three schools — Alabama, Ohio State, and Texas A&M.

The Texas native holds offers from over 30 schools but down to three schools. Those three are Alabama, Ohio State, and Texas A&M. Sanchez has made multiple trips to all three schools but appears to be trending toward the Buckeyes. According to On3’s RPM, Ohio State is the favorite to land Sanchez’s commitment at 96.9%.

Alabama will likely need to get Sanchez on campus before Jan. 6 to have any chance of landing his commitment. That will be something to monitor over the next few months.

Alabama is recruiting Sanchez to play cornerback. He has the prototypical size and skillset to thrive in Alabama’s secondary if he were to commit to the Crimson Tide.

As a junior at North Shore High School, Sanchez tallied 36 tackles, 18 pass breakups, and four interceptions. The Mustangs are regarded as the No. 2 team in the state, according to MaxPreps. Sanchez is one of the key players on the Mustangs roster.

Alabama a finalist to land 2025 safety Anquon Fegans

Alabama has already had one player on their roster with the last name Fegans. Now, Alabama is pushing to have another one. 2025 safety Anquon Fegans narrowed his list of finalists down to 12 schools. One of the programs that was listed was Alabama.

In the past, Alabama signed Anquon’s brother, Tre’Quon. He was a member of Alabama’s 2022 recruiting class. During the offseason, he elected to transfer to USC. Interestingly enough, that is where Anquon was committed for several months. However, he backed off of his commitment and is now re-exploring his options.

Fegans transferred to Thompson High School from Oxford High School several years ago. He has been an important member of Thompson’s defense over the last few seasons. Fegans mans the secondary alongside 2024 safety and Auburn commit Kaleb Harris.

Fegans has been relatively high on the Crimson Tide despite his brother’s decision to transfer. He made a trip to Tuscaloosa for the Alabama-Texas game.

It will be interesting to see which schools he decides to visit in the future. Alabama will be a program that is in the mix to land his commitment until the end, however.

Alabama MBB lands in top 9 for elite, 2025 SG Isiah Harwell from Idaho

2025 shooting guard Isiah Harwell released his top schools list. Among the programs listed was the Alabama Crimson Tide.

The Idaho native is currently a junior at Wasatch Academy in Wasatch, Utah. The Tigers play at a national level. Meaning they compete against the likes of national, powerhouse programs like La Lumiere High School, Montverde Academy, and IMG Academy.

Harwell has faired well against his opponents. Alabama offered him back in May and will continue pursuing Harwell.

Alabama listed as finalist to land 2025 OT Carter Lowe

On Monday, 2025 offensive tackle Carter Lowe released his top schools list. Of those listed was the Alabama Crimson Tide.

Alabama is in position to land one of the top offensive tackles in the country for the 2025 recruiting class. On Monday, 2025 offensive tackle Carter Lowe released his top schools list. Alabama was one of the schools named as a finalist.

It will be challenging for Alabama to out-recruit Ohio State for Lowe. After all, Lowe is from Toledo, Ohio which is located a little more than two hours away from Columbus, Ohio.

Interestingly, Lowe will be taking an unofficial visit to Alabama this weekend for the LSU game. This will be the second time that Lowe has been to Tuscaloosa this season. He also visited Alabama for the Texas game in Week 2.

Lowe making the trek from Toledo to Tuscaloosa is something that should not be taken lightly. It shows that there is mutual interest between Lowe and the Crimson Tide. His recruitment will be one to monitor moving forward.
