Mel Tucker has a known liking to bigger and stronger players. This recruit is no different as 6’5″ 285-pound offensive guard Dylan Senda announced on Wednesday that he received an offer from Michigan State University.

Senda, who attends Divine Child High School in Dearborn, Michigan, is a part of the class of 2023 and has no stars or rank on 247sports.

Senda has been offered by multiple Power 5 schools like Cincinnati, Kentucky, Maryland, Syracuse and Indiana.

Senda notes on his Twitter bio that he has a 3.8 GPA and is a multi-sport athlete. He also plays basketball and baseball, but his primary focus appears to be football. He also links a highlight reel in his bio and he looks like an absolute tank in them. He has the power and strength to push back his opponents and even pancakes a few of them. Expect him to be a 3- or 4-star recruit when 247sports releases that information on the class of 2023.

It may be a few years down the road, but this hasn’t stopped Michigan State from offering recruits in the class of 2023. This time they sent an offer to unranked safety Tristen Sion.

Sion, who is 6-foot-1 and 170 pounds, currently has no stars and attends Palm Beach Lakes in West Palm Beach, Florida. In his highlight tape, he looks like a fast and hard-hitting safety so I would expect him to be a 3- or 4-star prospect.

Michigan State is the 4th different school to offer him. Colorado, Baylor and Middle Tennessee State have also offered him.

Michigan State Football Offers 6’6 315-Pound OT

Olaus Alinen, a 6-foot-6 315 pound Offensive Tackle from Finland, has been offered a scholarship from Michigan State University.

Mel Tucker and his staff continue to offer scholarships left and right across multiple classes.  Whether it is offense or defense, Tucker and company aren’t afraid to offer big time prospects.  Not just in regard, but also in size.

Olaus Alinen, a 6-foot-6 315 pound offensive tackle from Finland, is the sixth different offensive tackle from the class of 2023 to receive an offer from Michigan State.  Alinen is attending Loomis Chaffee in Windsor, Connecticut. Alinen announced his offer late Monday morning on Twitter.

Alinen has already gotten notable other offers from colleges like Arizona State, Boston College, Georgia Tech, Kentucky, Michigan, Nebraska, Oregon, Virgina, Rutgers, and Syracuse.

After viewing this film of him in game, it’s not hard to see why he has gotten numerous offers so far.

Texas Football Recruiting: Longhorns options at QB in 2023 including Arch Manning

The Texas Longhorns need to look to the 2023 class at quarterback. With Quinn Ewers in the fold, could they get two number one passers?

The quarterback position at the University of Texas has been a talking point the last couple of weeks. The Longhorns secured a commitment from the number one passer in the 2022 class, Quinn Ewers. Shortly thereafter, Jalen Milroe bolted for Alabama. Most recently they replaced Milroe with an Iowa State commit in Charles Wright, who plays right here in Austin.

While it seems the 2021 and 2022 quarterback situation is locked up for now, focus begins to turn towards the 2023 class. Offensive coordinator Mike Yurcich will look to start getting his style of quarterbacks. Milroe mentioned not being “his guy” and it seems Yurcich prefers the pro style over dual threat passers. Much the reason they went after Ewers.

The Longhorns have offered both of the top quarterbacks on the 247Sports class rankings. One is the top quarterback in California in Malachi Nelson and the other has a NFL legacy attached to him. Arch Manning is going to get a lot of attention, he comes from a quarterback family so it was in his blood to throw the pigskin. Yurcich isn’t afraid to go big game hunting when it comes to the man leading his system on the field.

Texas target Braxton Myers gets invite to UA showcase

Texas recently offered a scholarship to John Paul II’s Braxton Myers. He received an invite to the Under Armour showcase in Mansfield, Texas

The Texas Longhorns coaching staff recently made an offer to 2023 cornerback out of John Paul II High School in Plano, Texas. The future college cornerback has received a total of 11 offers so far early on in his recruitment. Myers tweeted out that he was invited to the Under Armour Underclassmen Showcase that takes place at RL Anderson Stadium in Mansfield, Texas.

This is a big opportunity for Myers to showcase his skills as he continues to work towards realizing a dream of player Division I college football. He was a key part of John Paul’s defense in 2019 as a freshman. His high school coach and former Dallas Cowboy George Teague spoke glowingly about Myers.

The fact that Myers was asked to cover the best opposing wide receiver as a freshman on the Varsity team shows you just how good he can be. The state of Texas has produced many top cornerbacks over the years. The most recent being Jeff Okudah who attended Ohio State, he was a Grand Prairie product. Myers could be another one of those guys who can really develop into a top tier cornerback.

In today’s college game, having a guy who can shutdown the top threat is an asset. He has already mastered the press coverage technique which will help him immensely. Braxton Myers is definitely a name to keep in mind as his recruitment continues.

Notre Dame Quick to Offer Elite 2023 California Athlete

A quick viewing of his highlight tape shows a youngster with tremendous speed for any age, let alone his and very good athleticism.

Notre Dame got an early start on 2023 recruiting over the weekend as they became the second team to offer a scholarship to wide receiver/defensive back Raymond Valencia.

Valencia hails from J. Serra Catholic in California and is listed at 6-0, 170 pounds. A quick viewing of his highlight tape shows a youngster with tremendous speed for any age, let alone his and very good athleticism.

If Valencia’s first two scholarship offers are any indication it would mean most powerhouse programs won’t be far behind because Notre Dame joined Oregon as the only two schools to offer so far.

The second half of my freshman year of high school I think I spent the majority of time thinking about how I was going to ask a girl out (and I’d never step up) or how I’d be getting home from school or practice. I can’t imagine not yet being able to drive but getting offered scholarships to the likes of Notre Dame and Oregon.
