A listing of Big Ten football teams and which have the most invitations to the 2022 NFL scouting combine.

We’re just a few days away from the Super Bowl, but leading up to it, the NFL just released the full list of invitees to the 2022 NFL scouting combine that will take place in Indianapolis from March 1 through 7.

As always, the Ohio State football program will be well represented, but so will other teams in the Big Ten. In fact, every team except for one in the conference has at least two players that could take part in all the shenanigans inside Lucas Oil Stadium.

However, which Big Ten program has more players that will show off and show out? How do the rest of the teams stack up?

Here’s a list of Big Ten teams ranked by the number of NFL combine invitations for 2022. We start from 14 and work our way down to No. 1.

Keep an eye on these two at the NFL combine this year.

Texas will have a couple representatives at the 2022 NFL scouting combine, with hopes of catching the attention of an NFL team to better their chances at being drafted.

Defensive back Joshua Thompson and kicker/punter Cameron Dicker were among the 324 prospects invited to partake in the festivities. The combine will take place March 1 in Indianapolis, and has different events such as the 40-yard dash, broad jump, and bench press among many other events to test prospects athleticism and overall abilities.

Both former Longhorns were participants in the Reese’s Senior Bowl as well this past week.

Thompson was likely the best defensive back on the team in 2021, and finished his collegiate career playing in 37 games across five years, accumulating 108 total tackles, five tackles for a loss, and two interceptions.

Dicker quickly rose to stardom as a Longhorn after he hit the game winning field goal against Oklahoma in the Red River Show down during his freshman season. He finished his career as the school leader in total points as a kicker, 386 points in 49 games, which also ranks as the third-most among any player in Texas history. His 60 field goals are first in school history and his 206 extra points rank second.

Both Thompson and Dicker will have an uphill battle in terms of getting drafted, as neither are included in mock drafts up this point.
