Federer ranks second all-time in ATP wins, and his retirement certainly marks the end of an era for the sport of tennis. After the match, Federer was honored on the court by both the fellow members of Team Europe and the opposing team.

Teamed up with Rafael Nadal representing Europe in a double match against Frances Tiafoe and Jack Sock of Team World. It was an excellent match that came down to a tiebreaker, but Federer and Nadal ultimately came up short after winning the first set.

It was clearly an emotional moment on the court in London at the Laver Cup as Federer completed the final match of his practically unparalleled 24-year professional career.
