Georgia’s 2022 recruiting class vaults into the top two

The 2022 Georgia football recruiting class vaults into the top two after their most recent commit

On Sunday, March 28th, the Georgia Bulldogs gained a commitment from highly-touted linebacker Jalon Walker. Walker is a 4-star prospect that ranks in the top-50 nationally in his 2022 class.

The outside linebacker currently attends school at Salisbury High School in Salisbury, North Carolina. He also ranks as the fourth-best recruit at his position and the second-best out of NC.

The addition of Walker has now brought the Bulldogs into the top two classes of 2022. Both 247Sports and Rivals has Georgia’s class ranked as the second overall, with Ohio State having the top class on both platforms.

UGA now has ten total commits for 2022. Three of those are 5-star prospects and the remaining seven are 4-star prospects. Don’t be surprised if Georgia ends up bumping Ohio State from the top spot as the Bulldogs have interest from plenty of other top prospects.
