2 Panthers players selected to 2020 Pro Bowl

Two players made the cut for the Carolina Panthers this year.

The 2020 Pro Bowl will take place on Sunday, January 26th at 2:00 p.m. ET in Orlando. Tonight, the rosters are being announced on NFL Network.

We already know that two players made the cut for the Carolina Panthers this year.

RB Christian McCaffrey

This is McCaffrey’s third year in the league and his first Pro Bowl selection. His case to make the NFC squad was a slam dunk from the moment the 2019 season started. McCaffrey has established himself as the finest running back in football. He currently leads the NFL in yards from scrimmage by a massive margin. Heading into Week 16, he’s totaled 2,121 so far. Browns running back Nick Chubb ranks second and he’s 436 yards behind. McCaffrey has also scored a league-high 18 total touchdowns.

LB Luke Kuechly

Kuechly is no stranger to the Pro Bowl, of course. This is his seventh selection since he was picked in the 2012 draft. While he hasn’t been quite as dominant as we’re accustomed to seeing this year, Kuechly is still one of the game’s most productive linebackers. He has totaled 131 combined tackles this season to go with two interceptions and 11 pass breakups.

Bills CB Tre’Davious White named to Pro Bowl roster

Buffalo Bills cornerback Tre’Davious White has been named to the 2020 Pro Bowl roster

For the eighth consecutive year, the Buffalo Bills will send at least one representative to the Pro Bowl.

Cornerback Tre’Davious White was named to the AFC’s Pro Bowl roster on Tuesday evening. It’s the first time that White, who has established himself as one of the league’s premier defensive backs in his third season, will appear in the yearly event.

Though White realistically could have been named to the Pro Bowl in either of his first two seasons, his selection was undeniable this year. He’s recorded 58 tackles and a league-high six interceptions through 14 games, this while consistently lined up against the opposition’s top wideouts.

The 24-year-old has already set career highs in interceptions (6), forced fumbles (2), and sacks (1.0), and he’s on pace to set career-high marks in tackles and pass deflections.

If his stats don’t impress you, perhaps his performances against some of the league’s top wide receivers will. He locked down Cleveland’s Odell Beckham and Dallas’ Amari Cooper while tasked with covering them this season, cementing himself as a serious contender for the title of ‘best cornerback in the NFL.’

White is the only Buffalo player to be named to this year’s Pro Bowl roster outright. According to ESPN’s Marcel Louis-Jacques, nine additional Bills have been designated as alternates.

Linebacker Tremaine Edmunds and quarterback Josh Allen headline the list of Buffalo’s alternates, as they’ve been named first and fourth-choice alternatives, respectively.

KR Andre Roberts, C Mitch Morse, WR John Brown, DE Jerry Hughes, HB Frank Gore, DT Jordan Phillips, and S Jordan Phillips round out the list of the team’s Pro Bowl alternates, per ESPN. Players already named to the Pro Bowl will need to decline the invitation in order for the additional Bills to secure a spot in Orlando.

How to watch the 2020 NFL Pro Bowl selection: Time and TV channel

Here’s how to watch the official announcement for the NFL’s 2020 Pro Bowl roster, including time, date and television channel

If you’re looking to see which Baltimore Ravens players were selected to the NFL’s 2020 Pro Bowl roster, you’re in luck. The league will televise the event tonight so you can watch which players make the 2020 Pro Bowl.

Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson topped all NFL players in fan votes for the Pro Bowl, beating second-place by more than 160,000 votes. In total, eight Baltimore players were at the top of their respective positions in fan voting. But with coaches and players being counted as the other 2/3 of the voting process, there’s no knowing exactly how many Ravens players will make the cut.

When looking at Baltimore’s roster, I predicted as many as 13 Ravens could make the 2020 Pro Bowl roster. While some are less realistic than others, Baltimore could very well top their previous best of eight players, with several getting their first Pro Bowl nominations. Of course, Ravens fans are hoping every one of them has to cancel in order to prepare for Super Bowl LIV.

Here’s how to watch which players actually made the NFL Pro Bowl this season.

How to watch 2020 Pro Bowl selection:

TV channels: NFL Network

The 2020 Pro Bowl will be played on January 26 at 2:00 pm ET in Orlando.

These 49ers should make 2020 Pro Bowl

The 49ers are one of the NFL’s best teams, and that should show in their Pro Bowl representation.

The 49ers a year ago had only two Pro Bowlers in their four-win season – defensive lineman DeForest Buckner and tight end George Kittle. The 2020 edition of the NFL’s all-star game should have a much heavier 49ers presence.

With six players leading the NFC in fan voting at their positions and an 11-3 record, the 49ers are primed to be a popular team throughout the selection process, which also includes coach and player ballots.

Because of the three-tiered voting process, there’s no guarantee every worthy player will make it to the Pro Bowl, but these 49ers should be among those voted in for the NFC:

FB Kyle Juszczyk
TE George Kittle
DL Arik Armstead
DL DeForest Buckner
DE Nick Bosa
LB Fred Warner
CB Richard Sherman
FS Jimmie Ward
SS Jaquiski Tartt
RB Raheem Mostert

Juszczyk, Kittle, Armstead, Bosa, Sherman and Mostert were the six players who led their positions in fan votes. Mostert would get in as a special teams player, although his efficiency numbers indicate he should be in the conversation to make the team as a running back. His volume won’t allow him to realistically get there though.

Warner, Ward, Tartt and Buckner didn’t land among the top vote getters, but all four have been terrific this season for San Francisco.

Warner is quickly evolving into one of the most dominant off-ball linebackers in the league thanks to his improved aggressiveness against the run and dynamic coverage skills.

Ward is a key reason San Francisco’s defense has limited big plays, and he consistently puts together strong showings game in and game out. Tartt is right there too, although more of his impact happens closer to the line of scrimmage.

Buckner should make another trip to the Pro Bowl despite his decline in numbers. His dominance inside draws a lot of attention from opposing offensive lines and makes life easier on the rest of the front seven. He’s still managed 6.5 sacks, 12 quarterback hits, seven tackles for loss and four fumble recoveries.

The 49ers have had some of the NFC’s best individual efforts this season, and they’re certainly deserving of a ton of representation in Orlando.

2020 Pro Bowl selection: Time and TV info for roster announcement

The NFL will be revealing the 2020 Pro Bowl roster on Tuesday. Here are all the details.

As the NFL regular season draws to a close, many teams will go home empty handed as the postseason roars to life. One season after winning the NFC North and boasting a No. 3 seed in the conference, the Bears have been eliminated from playoff contention following Week 15 and an overall disappointing outing.

But there are still some Bears players that will have a chance to play some January football as the NFL prepares to announce its 2020 Pro Bowl rosters.

With voting officially closed for the 2020 Pro Bowl, the official announcement of rosters for the AFC and NFC will be announced Tuesday night.

While there aren’t many Bears players that could seemingly make the roster — especially on offense — there are a few that have had Pro-Bowl years, including kick returner Cordarrelle Patterson, receiver Allen Robinson, cornerback Kyle Fuller, punt returner Tarik Cohen and outside linebacker Khalil Mack.

2020 NFL Pro Bowl: Which Ravens should be selected

The Baltimore Ravens sit atop the NFL and with the 2020 Pro Bowl rosters to drop tonight, several players should get recognized for it.

The NFL is set to announce the 2020 Pro Bowl roster later this evening. And with the Baltimore Ravens sitting at 12-2 and leading several respective positions in fan voting, it got me wondering which players should actually make their way into the Pro Bowl this season?

Of course, the ultimate hope is Baltimore has to have all their players turn down the event as they prepare for Super Bowl LIV. But regardless, this is a golden opportunity for many players to get their very first Pro Bowl nod and for some others to continue their streak. So let’s take a look at the 13 Ravens players I believe should be selected to the 2020 Pro Bowl.

QB Lamar Jackson

A Pro Bowl appears to be nothing more than a formality at this stage. Jackson led every NFL player in fan votes by a wide margin. And given his MVP-caliber season on top of it, Jackson not making the cut would be worthy of a headline all its own.

But just in case anyone is unsure why Jackson should get a Pro Bowl nod, Neil Dutton went through all the Ravens franchise records Jackson has already set. Add to it breaking Michael Vick’s single-season rushing record, leading the league in touchdown passes, TD% and QBR seems like good enough reasons by themselves for Jackson to get his first Pro Bowl nomination.

2020 Pro Bowl selection: time and TV info for roster announcement

Check out which Steelers made the 2020 Pro Bowl.

If you want to know which of your favorite players be named to the 2020 Pro Bowl roster, you will want to tune into the NFL Network Tuesday night. They plan to announce the rosters for the AFC and NFL at 8:00 pm ET during their NFL Total Access show.

The Pittsburgh Steelers look to be well-represented this year, especially on the defensive side of the football. We predicted eight players to make the Pro Bowl from Pittsburgh including five on defense, two on offense and one on special teams.

It’s always to keep in mind, the roster you will see tonight is not who will end up playing in the game. Lots of players love being named to the team for recognition and possibly a bonus but many players don’t want to bother to play the game. So as the season winds down you will hear about alternates getting on the team in the final weeks leading up to the game.

The 2020 Pro Bowl will be played on January 26 at 2:00 pm ET in Orlando.

Which Chargers should be selected to 2020 NFL Pro Bowl?

Chargers Wire’s Gavino Borquez says the eight Chargers players that should be selected to the 2020 Pro Bowl.

The rosters for the 2020 Pro Bowl are set to be announced on Tuesday on the NFL Network’s special “NFL Access: Pro Bowl Players Revealed” at 5:00 p.m. PT.

Even though it’s been a disappointing season for the Los Angeles Chargers, there are still a few players on the roster that have shown to be worthy enough to play in the prestigious game with the league’s best players.

First and foremost is defensive end Joey Bosa. Bosa is a lock because he still leads the AFC in votes at his perspective position. The former Ohio State product is fourth in tackles for loss (18) and eighth in sacks (10.5).

Opposite of Bosa is DE Melvin Ingram, who is also worthy of making the Pro Bowl for the third consecutive season.

Ingram doesn’t nearly have the stats that Bosa does, but his presence is known on a weekly basis, where he’s been a force at generating pressure, stopping the run and coming up big on third-down situations.

Another player on the defensive side of the ball that should be voted in is cornerback Casey Hayward, who still isn’t getting enough attention as one of the best at the position.

Though he only has two interceptions this season, the numbers don’t do the justice to show how great he is in coverage. Opposing quarterbacks purposely don’t throw in his direction because they know they will likely have to pay a price.

On the other side of the ball, there are four players who are worthy of making the Pro Bowl — wide receivers Keenan Allen, Mike Williams, tight end Hunter Henry and running back Austin Ekeler.

Allen surpassed the 1,000-yard receiving mark this past weekend (1,046), marking for a third straight season. He is 10 receptions shy from hitting the 100 mark and he has five touchdowns to go with that.

Williams is 88 yards shy from the 1,000 yard mark. He leads the NFL by averaging 21 yards per reception. It took a little bit to find the end zone after posting 10 last season, but he has a pair of scores in the last two weeks.

Henry is eighth in receiving yards at his position (565). The 25-year old also has four touchdowns. Not to mention, he did that while missing four weeks earlier this season.

Ekeler is the definition of efficient. He is nearing 1,400 yards from scrimmage and has 11 total touchdowns to go along with that, while serving as running back Melvin Gordon’s backup.

Finally, you can’t forget about fullback Derek Watt. Watt has been the team’s special teams ace, tied for the league in special teams total tackles with 15 on the season.

When the rosters are revealed tonight, we can expect between six and eight Chargers players to be named to the Pro Bowl roster.

2020 Pro Bowl selection: time and TV info for roster announcement

Here’s a look at how to see which players will take the field for the NFC and the AFC, respectively.

The NFL regular season is now just a couple of weeks away from its end, but that won’t mean the end of the line for some players on teams that don’t edge their way into the postseason.

The 2020 Pro Bowl votes are in, and the rosters will officially be announced this week.

As of now, the only true lock the Titans seem to have in the game is punter Brett Kern, who finished first in voting among AFC punters with 93,586 votes.
