Social media reacts to Texas’ big comeback victory over TCU

Texas’ historic comeback has social media buzzing.

Wednesday was a special night at the Moody Center as the No. 10 Longhorns erased an 18-point first-half deficit to beat No. 17 TCU by a score of 79-75.

After going into the halftime break down 13 points, Texas came out of the locker looking like a totally different team.

Texas outscored TCU 50-33 in the second half behind considerable efforts from Sir-Jabari Rice and Timmy Allen. The two combined for 32 points and 11 rebounds, making some crucial plays down the stretch.

Forward Dylan Disu added 14 points of his own on 7-for-7 shooting in one of his better games of the year. Disu made an impact on both sides of the court by blocking three TCU shots as well.

The Longhorns improve to 14-2 on the season boasting a 3-1 record in Big 12 Conference play. Rodney Terry is 7-1 since taking over the interim head coaching reins.
