Sixers player grades: Seth Curry stays red hot to help beat Pistons

Seth Curry stays red hot as the Philadelphia 76ers knocked off the Detroit Pistons on the road.

The Philadelphia 76ers hit the road to take on the Detroit Pistons on Thursday to begin a two-game road trip and they were a pretty shorthanded group. The team is still down Ben Simmons, but they were also down Danny Green, Tobias Harris, Furkan Korkmaz, and Isaiah Joe.

Led by the red hot Seth Curry, the Sixers were still able to overcome all of that and come out on top in the Motor City 109-98. Curry scored 23 points while knocking down four triples to help ensure a win for Philadelphia and improve to 7-2 on the young season.

Tyrese Maxey played well again as he had 20 points and five assists, Joel Embiid added 19 points and nine rebounds, and Shake Milton added 16 points, seven rebounds, and five assists in a start. Andre Drummond hopped off the bench and had eight and 10 rebounds and Georges Niang had 14 while Paul Reed also pulled down nine rebounds in 15 minutes.
