Report: Georgia football OT trending up as we approach 2020 NFL Draft

Per a report, Georgia football OT Isaiah Wilson is trending in the right direction as we approach the 2020 NFL Draft.

It’s NFL Draft month, and despite all that’s going on in the world we will have sports in some capacity very soon.

The 2020 NFL Draft is slated for April 23-25. The event will be conducted with no audience in attendance.

As we get closer and closer to the draft, players begin trending rapidly in one of two directions on the draft boards of NFL general managers.

Luckily for Georgia offensive tackle Isaiah Wilson, he’s trending in the right direction — up.

According to this tweet from NFL Network analyst Daniel Jeremiah, Wilson is being viewed as a first round choice by two GMs that Jeremiah has spoken with in the last 24 hours.

Wilson’s projections have fluctuated this offseason. I’ve seen first round, I’ve seen fourth round and I’ve seen everything in between.

Wilson came to Georgia as the top-ranked offensive lineman in the country out of Poly Prep High School in Brooklyn, New York, and already 6-foot-7 and 345 pounds.

As a two-year starter for the Dawgs, Wilson helped lead Georgia teams that won 11 and 12 games and produce three 1,000-yard rushers: Elijah Holyfield (once) and  D’Andre Swift (twice).

ESPN’s Todd McShay has Wilson as a late second-round pick.
