Report card: Bills outlast Steelers, 17-10

The Bills are playoff bound after their victory of the Pittsburgh Steelers. It was a victory where the Bills relied on their stout defense.

Offensive line: C-

It wasn’t a pretty game for the Bills offensive line, but an improvement from the debacle that was the Week 14 Baltimore Ravens matchup. Allen was sacked just one time, a big improvement from six that they gave up in week 14. The Bills were facing a tremendous pass rush duo of T.J. Watt and Bud Dupree, and that pass rush had just the one takedown. An applaud worthy statistic for a struggling offensive line.

Buffalo’s offensive line didn’t create enough push in the run game, either. While Singletary had 87 yards, he needed some individual brilliance to reach that mark, other than his offensive line creating the hole for him initially, the unit didn’t get to the second level often. The offensive line did enough for the Bills to create a few key moments, that gave them the victory.
