Report card: Bills outlast Steelers, 17-10

The Bills are playoff bound after their victory of the Pittsburgh Steelers. It was a victory where the Bills relied on their stout defense.

Secondary: A+

Tre’Davious White was lockdown on Sunday night, White had two interceptions massive interceptions during the game. The first interception came on the Steelers first drive, where he picked off a deep shot by Hodges. His second interception, he jumped the route of Johnson and took the ball deep into Steelers territory which set up a game-tying score.

The secondary closed out the game as well, with two interceptions coming in the final two minutes of regulation. Jordan Poyer had the third interception for Buffalo, where he intercepted Hodges in the center of the end zone, stalling the potential comeback. The final, and fourth, interception iced the game for Buffalo. Hodges rolled out of the pocket, and threw the ball into the waiting hands of Levi Wallace in a desperate attempt.

Four interceptions is a massive game for any secondary, the unit also contributed in shouting down the run game. Jordan Poyer and Micah Hyde were stacked in the box throughout the game, cleaning up any run the spilled outside.
