Let’s get the big issue out of the way: Drops. The Bills had four drops on the night, three coming from the wide receivers, the other coming from fullback Pat DiMarco. Beasley had two drops, the first came on third down, and the second resulted in Allen’s interception. John Brown’s drop didn’t end the drive, but it was a great ball from Allen that Brown right in the hands.

While Brown had his one drop that didn’t stop him from having a big night against one of the best defenses in the NFL. Brown had seven catches for 99 yards, an average of 14.1 yards per carry. Brown made a crucial catch on fourth down in the first quarter, which kept the first scoring drive alive for Buffalo.

Outside of Brown, there wasn’t much production for the Bills receiving corp. Tight ends Tyler Kroft and Dawson Knox both had one catch, with Kroft catching the game-winning touchdown in the fourth quarter. Receiver Cole Beasley had just one catch for six yards.

The receivers weren’t helped by some poor throws, but didn’t help themselves with bad drops.
