Bills at Dolphins: Final injury reports

Previous coverage:

Safety Micah Hyde’s status for the Buffalo Bills’ Week 3 matchup with the Miami Dolphins took a turn on Thursday.

According to the Buffalo News, Hyde is set to have a second opinion on a neck injury he sustained in his team’s 41-7 win over the Tennessee Titans on Monday.

Hyde was injured late in the second half during the contest. It ended up going a bit under the radar because of the neck injury sustain by cornerback Dane Jackson earlier on, but it appears Hyde could be set to miss time because of the injury. A second opinion is not a step in the healthy direction.

Initially, Hyde walked off the field and then was carted to the Bills’ locker room.

The safety has yet to practice this week via the team’s injury report.

Without Hyde, Jaquan Johnson would be the expected starter. But fellow depth safety Damar Hamlin might also be pressed into duty.

Jordan Poyer, Buffalo’s other starting safety, missed Thursday’s practice due to a foot injury. The day prior he was listed as a limited participant.
