Joel Embiid and the shorthanded Philadelphia 76ers were able to overcome the Milwaukee Bucks at home.

PHILADELPHIA–The Philadelphia 76ers were facing a tall order on Friday night when they played host to the Milwaukee Bucks. The Sixers were already missing James Harden, Tobias Harris, and Furkan Korkmaz entering the game, but they also lost Tyrese Maxey at halftime.

Despite all of that, the Sixers were able to lean on their star big man to lead the way in a 110-102 win over the high-powered Bucks at home. Joel Embiid led Philadelphia with 32 points and 11 rebounds with eight assists to carry them to a third consecutive win.

Maxey had 24 points on 9-for-12 shooting before leaving with the injury, Georges Niang hopped off the bench and poured in 17 points, Danuel House Jr. had nine points, and De’Anthony Melton had 10 points, seven rebounds, and five assists. Shake Milton added 15 and seven assists as well.
