Ohio State 2024 commit wins MVP of Deshaun Watson 7-on-7 tournament

Are you surprised? I’m not #GoBucks

The first Deshaun Watson 7-on-7 tournament was held in Akron and [autotag]Ohio State[/autotag] was well represented.

Ohio State cornerback commit, [autotag]Bryce West,[/autotag] was on hand along with priority cornerback target, [autotag]Aaron Scott[/autotag]. The uncommitted prospect was seen wearing Michigan gear, but he wasn’t the star of the show.

Buckeye tight end commitment, [autotag]Damarion Witten[/autotag]’s Glenville team didn’t end up winning the tournament, Hoban, the host did, but the 6-foot, 2-inch, 215-pound future Ohio State star was named MVP.

This is not at all surprising, especially after watching his junior year highlights. Witten might be the best receiving tight end prospect to enter the program in years and this honor backs that up.

Witten is ranked as the No. 18 tight end and 350th overall prospect according to 247Sports Composite rankings, but if he continues to play like he did on Tuesday, he is going to end up ranked much higher.
