2013: Luke Joeckel, 2nd overall pick by Jacksonville Jaguars

Heading into the 2013 draft, several draft experts felt Joeckel was in play to be the first offensive lineman selected first overall since Jake Long in 2008. Ultimately, it was OT Eric Fisher who ended up going first overall to the Kansas City Chiefs, but the Jaguars were more than happy to grab Joeckel. The former Texas A&M standout seemed like the next Tony Boselli, but his star quickly faded. Joeckel played in just five games his rookie year before sustaining an ankle injury and didn’t fare any better in 2014. In fact, Pro Football Focus graded him as one of the worst offensive tackles in football that year. The Jags declined to pick up his fifth-year option, and Joeckel signed with the Seahawks in the 2017 offseason, where he played just one season.
