The New York Giants continued their unprecedented collapse, falling in humiliating fashion to the Dallas Cowboys, 49-17. As a result, they finally bottomed out in the power rankings.

Meanwhile, the Detroit Lions hung on and won a thriller over the Los Angeles Chargers, 41-38. Their stock continues to rise.

Finally, with their latest loss, the Bills slide a good distance while the upstart Houston Texans, led by quarterback C.J. Stroud, continue to ascend.
