The NBA trade market was in full swing as teams around the league worked the phones in an effort to improve their rosters ahead of Thursday’s deadline.
The action rocketed into high gear last week when Kyrie Irving requested to be traded by the Brooklyn Nets. Two days later, Irving was on the move to Dallas as the organization worked quickly to find a new home for the eight-time All-Star.
Developments really heated up in the early morning hours on Thursday when it was reported that the Nets agreed to trade Kevin Durant to the Phoenix Suns for a massive package of players and draft picks. The move became a possibility once Irving was traded out of Brooklyn.
