After LSU lost its first game of the season on Saturday against Iowa, many wondered how the No. 1 Tigers would react to the stunning loss as they finished the Round Rock Classic on Sunday.
It was bombs away against Sam Houston State as LSU used the long ball to bounce back for a win to finish the Classic’s finale. The Tigers answered any questions about the validity of their No. 1 overall ranking with a drubbing of the Bearkats, 16-4.
[autotag]Brayden Jobert[/autotag] got it started early as he hit a two-run homer in the first inning to get LSU started off right. In the second inning, LSU scored five runs thanks to a [autotag]Jordan Thompson[/autotag] RBI single, a 2-RBI double for [autotag]Dylan Crews[/autotag], and another two-run blast by Jobert to make it 7-0 after two innings.
