The hashtag #WeWantToPlay has gone viral on Twitter and has created so much discussion and debate as to what will happen this coming football season.

College football players from all over the country have been sharing their thoughts and feelings about wanting to play this season, and have tried to make their voice heard.

Reports began surfacing early Monday morning that the Big 10 and Pac 12 were cancelling and that the SEC was going to do whatever it could to play this season.

Dan Patrick, the host of the “Dan Patrick Show,” shared that: “The SEC is looking for teams to join them. And the SEC is looking at exclusive TV contracts.”

Once that caught wind, twitter began to explode even more.

Players from Ohio State began to tweet about joining the SEC.

Ohio State linebacker Teradja Mitchell was the first to tweet such a statement:

After Mitchell’s tweet, fellow Buckeyes teammate Cameron Brown also tweeted about the SEC:

But that’s not all.

Ohio State wide receivers coach Brian Hartline added his input as well.

Simply put, these players want to play.

Over the next few days, the fate of college football season will come to life.

At this point, it might just the SEC and one or two more conferences, or it might just be the SEC.
