The Big Ten Conference has voted to postpone their 2020 fall football season, with hopes to play in the spring. But for one of the top prospects in the 2020 NFL Draft class, that’s not gonna cut it.
Ohio State quarterback Justin Fields has started an online petition to have the Big Ten’s 2020 season reinstated, and it already has more than 5,000 signatures:

Fields is widely regarded as the No. 2 quarterback prospect in the 2021 NFL Draft class, behind Clemson’s Trevor Lawrence. Both players have been extremely vocal in recent weeks about their desire to go through with a fall football season amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
Other top prospects across the country, including Big Ten stars like Penn State linebacker Micah Parsons, Purdue wide receiver Rondale Moore and Minnesota wide receiver Rashod Bateman, have already opted out of the 2020 season and have begun preparations for next year’s draft.
But for Fields and many others, they still have their sights set on fall football in the Big Ten.
