Ohio State cornerback Jeff Okudah is all set to realize his dream of being selected very early in the NFL draft Thursday. He’s known far and wide as the best defensive back in the draft and there’s a good chance he’s off the board within the top three picks.

In fact, most NFL draft projections have him going No. 3 overall to the Detroit Lions. They are in desperate need of a lockdown-type corner to take the place of Darius Slade who left in free agency.

Okudah has confidence in himself, and he expressed why he could be a perfect fit for the Lions as the “lockdown” corner they need when he spoke with Mackenzie Salmon of Sports Pulse.
