The Houston Texans have signed former Georgia Bulldog linebacker Davin Bellamy to their practice squad. Bellamy was previously with the Texans when they signed him as an undrafted free agent after the 2018 NFL Draft. Bellamy spent 2018 on Houston’s practice squad.
In 2019, Bellamy primarily played for the Cincinnati Bengals practice squad. Now, he’s returned to Houston, who is facing the Kansas City Chiefs in the Divisional Round of the AFC Playoffs this weekend.

Bellamy will look to make Houston’s roster in 2020 and establish a larger foothold in the NFL. Bellamy reportedly rejected rejoining Cincinnati’s practice squad.
Bellamy recorded 13 sacks and 135 total tackles as a Georgia Bulldog. He’s continued to play OLB at the NFL level.
