Georgia Bulldogs outside linebacker Robert Beal is entering the transfer portal. Beal played in five games and recorded eight tackles on the season. Beal hails from Norcross, Georgia. His transfer status was updated today:
Robert Beal was a top 150 overall prospect in the 2017 recruiting cycle.
He was recruited to Georgia by Kevin Sherrer and Jeremy Pruitt recruited him for Alabama. https://t.co/H9PkyecUxZ

Beal is a talented player and his loss is a big-hit for Georgia’s defensive depth in the future. Beal’s transfer shouldn’t come as a surprise. He played much more during his freshman season, when he recorded 15 tackles and a sack. Beal’s decreased playing time is likely connected to his off-season arrest.
