Georgia football adds commitment from 4-star Bear Alexander

The Georgia Bulldogs added a commitment from four-star Ryan High School defensive tackle Bear Alexander.

The Georgia Bulldogs were in four-star defensive tackle Bear Alexander’s list of top schools. Now, Alexander has committed to the University of Georgia.

Alexander is a junior at Ryan High School in Denton, Texas. Ryan High School just went 15-0 and won a state title in Texas in dominant fashion.

Alexander is a member of the class of 2022 and sports offers from major college football programs, including Miami, UNC, Michigan, USC, Auburn and Oregon. He had a lot of schools to pick from and is one of the best defensive tackles in his class.

Alexander announced his commitment to Georgia via his Twitter account:

Alexander ranks as the No. 140 player in his class and the No. 9 defensive tackle in the country. At 6 feet, 3 inches and 325 pounds, the Ryan High School product has the size and skill to play right away in the SEC.

The four-star recruit announced his top 16 schools in December. Alexander put Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Miami, Tennessee, Ohio State, USC, Oklahoma, LSU, Oregon, Texas, TCU, Minnesota, Michigan, Auburn and Texas A&M in his top schools, but now he’s committed to the Bulldogs.

The four-star defensive tackle will look good in the red and black:
