The Georgia Bulldogs and head coach Kirby Smart have extended a scholarship to rising senior athlete Ronan Hanafin. The Dawgs are the latest school to offer the Buckingham Browne & Nichols School star.

Ronan Hanafin plays high school football in Cambridge, Massachusetts. The 6-foot-3, 205-pound athlete primarily plays strong safety and wide receiver.

Hanafin has received recent scholarship offers from College Football Playoff mainstays like Clemson, Alabama, Oklahoma, and Ohio State. The versatile athlete has seen his recruitment really pick up in recent months.

On tape, Hanafin is a powerful blocker. He is not afraid to deliver a big hit when playing strong safety. He has excellent size and decent speed. Hanafin is good at winning contested catches over defenders.

Hanafin, who is ranked as a three-star recruit, has taken recent visits to Clemson, Maryland, and Wisconsin. The Buckingham Browne & Nichols standout is the No. 410 recruit in the country, so he is not far from being ranked as a four-star prospect. Hanafin additionally is the No. 5 recruit in Massachusetts.
